On the box it clearly states at least 400W PSU required, perhaps more. Now someone fitting a graphics card isnt going to need to know the ins and outs of building, they simply buy it and fit it, a lot of people have fitted the simple things, so you could more easily assume they'd do the same shopping for a PSU.
IF people honestly did research do you think prebuilt PCs in Dixons or any other retailer that sells PC's would still be in business?
I can understand what you're saying, i'm just wondering how you came to the conclusion that people research what they buy?
I can think of lots of people that fitted new parts to their PC but wouldnt know to buy a good brand PSU. I mean heck i still hear lots of people ranting on about how fast their CPU is, just the clock speed, seems they think its all in the mhtz still.....
