What’s the odds the steward say that by the time max came through the flags were waved by mistake and as they lights were green on the pit straight everything’s ok, even though everyone knows flags take priority over lights on track and dash

It’s strange how the rhetoric has changed amongst fans in relation to Max. Most neutrals was supporting him in order to have a new WDC. Now it seems he’s alienated some of that support with his driving and perceived FIA assistance (to keep the title fight going)

Likely.

It seems the FIA will try to do anything to avoid giving him a penalty.

The decision not to give him one for the Brazil move was just laughable.

I think many have finally lost their patience with him and the FIA.

The Brazil move just wasn't up for debate. At all. It was as clear a penalty as could be given, yet they didn't do it. Not doing it then gives Max the confidence to just continue to break the rules.

No one wants to see someone win the championship by just blatantly cheating.

The stewards can't even say the flags were a mistake. Only the marshalls at the post make a decision to wave or put out yellow flags, that is their primary function. Not even race control can override a marshall that is on the scene.

There’s aggressive driving and then there’s outright dangerous driving and because he’s gotten away with the aggressive driving for so long he’s now more leaning into the dangerous driving, his “it’s never my fault and I’m never wrong” attitude doesn’t help either. My wife really liked Max and wanted him to win the WDC, she has totally changed her mind this season.

The Brazil driver stewards were liuzzi who used to be a redbull driver and Moreno, who is best friends with Piquet, who's daughter is partner to MV. We all know Piquet has no scruples.

How is that even allowed, it calls into question any sort of integrity

Ex-drivers were brought in because drivers complained about stewards being out of touch and not understanding racing. If you have ex-drivers they're inevitably going to have raced for some team.

I would really love to see someone drive maxi off the track today when he’s overtaking, and actually see what comes their way, and see if max then thinks it was hard but fair driving

That’s fair enough but if a particular steward has past with a team that’s had an incident during the race he shouldn’t have any input into the decision, it should be left to the other stewards in the room. It might even be better if they weren’t ex drivers, bet the decisions would follow the rules more closely no matter which driver it is.

When the stewards didn't include a previous driver (prior to 2010) people moaned about inconsistencies. Now they moan about inconsistencies anyway, so I don't think it makes much difference who the stewards are, or whether or not they have prior racing experience.

Last week this style of posting was not allowed.
Are we allowed to "wish" drivers being crashed out now? I don't have a problem with it, but it seems it's maybe only allowed if we're hoping for one specific driver to be crashed into...

Says driven off the track, not crashed into!
