Nice. Car's 33, 55 and 77 summoned to stewards for yellow flag. Not 11 and 99 as well though. ;)

Sainz and Bottas - Not respecting a single waved yellow flag.
Verstappen - Not respecting double waved yellows flags.

Sainz and Bottas, Fine, no grid drop.
Verstappen, 5 place grid penalty. Double waved yellows is 'slow down and be prepared to stop', it's time the FIA mandated what 'slow down' means. IMO it should be at least a 50% drop in speed compared to racing speed in any given area.

Agree, with double yellows you need to be ready to stop.
Interesting times

So assuming precedent of 3 place drop for single and 5 place drop for double, applying in order of infractions (Bottas then Sainz then Verstappen), we could be looking at a lineup of...

1 Hamilton
2 Gasly
3 Alonso
4 Norris
5 Bottas
6 Tsunoda
7 Verstappen
8 Ocon
9 Vettel
10 Sainz

... I think?

Would make for a spicy race and championship. About time a penalty lands on Max instead of Hamilton.

Could be why they're pulling in Verstappen first - penalties are applied in the order that they are earned, dropping Versatappen first then Sainz and Bottas. Hmmmm....

This will confirm the FIA corruption if Max receives no penalty.
Horner basically saying live on air that they are happier that Mercedes straight line speed is closer to theirs this weekend because they have basically stropped cheating for now. See you next Tuesday Christian.

Interesting, was Max not the last person to cross the line? Surely it would not be correct to award penalties out of the order of which the infractions occurred?

They should throw the rulebook at him for ignoring double waved yellows. His disrespect for other drivers and the circuit staff is appalling.

He hasn't got the best role model in Jos, the bloke is an *** hat of the highest order. Just google him and there are various stories of fighting. Including his own dad Frans... So it doesn't really surprise me that Max is an arrogant plonker.

Another way of looking at it…

Max is net 4th, even if he starts 7th. Tsunoda and Gasly will move over for him and Alonso will go backwards on lap 1.

Given the current bias and protection of Redbull I predict a warning for Sainz and Bottas for breaching singles, and a fine and slap on the wrist for Max and RB. Followed by a grid drop for Lewis for going too fast in a straight line.

There’s no punishment for failing the new wing bendy test, although you can bet that if Merc fail any test RB will try to appeal any race wins.
