Queen Elizabeth II has passed away - keep posts civil and respectful

Just turned the news on. Yeah. Doesn't look good. Family congregating in Balmoral. All newsreaders in black.

Flipped over to the Parliament channel - MP's are debating the Social Security (Special Rules for End of Life) Bill at committee stage... Ooooh. Bad timing. Starts with thoughts of house and so on towards for the Queen.

She's been the Queen longer than most people on this forum have been alive. I'm not a monarchist but even I can see this the end of an era. Personally I think she's been the only thing keeping the UK together for a long

Agree. Unfortunately I think the death of the Queen will be a big milestone in the decline of the UK.

Times like this I wish I still had a TV license/a TV. Social medial is just the worst for events like this.

Watching sky on my chromebook.

One of the worst things is that most of the Royal Correspondents and various "experts" seem to be awful people, topped by Nicholas Witchell, that said his career might be over when Charles takes over as he seems to hate him

Must be awfully difficult for the newsreaders filling time until any official word.
Why disrupt bbc 1 when people can get their BBC News channel fix by getting their remote out and change channels?

Just have a ticker tape at bottom of screen with the various numbers for each tv service -Freeview, Sky, VM etc.

The UK is already finished..

Anyone finding this camera over the airfield a bit perverse? Why do we need to see this?
