I remember watching Newsround at 9/11 as in less than 5 mins it told me what happened more than 5 hours of waffle from BBC News presenters and correspondents.

One of the worst things is that most of the Royal Correspondents and various "experts" seem to be awful people, topped by Nicholas Witchell, that said his career might be over when Charles takes over as he seems to hate him

Why disrupt bbc 1 when people can get their BBC News channel fix by getting their remote out and change channels?

Just have a ticker tape at bottom of screen with the various numbers for each tv service -Freeview, Sky, VM etc.
