It is very weird because many people have died that I did not know but never felt anything. Have gotten quite emotional when they played the anthem. She was basically a symbol of what makes our nation which is now sadly gone.

Myself, my parents and their parents haven’t experienced life without the queen being in power, a massive milestone which I doubt will be achieved again.

But a fantastic servant of our country has died. Someone who has had an effect on pretty much ALL of our lives has passed away. Its a sad day for the UK.

Its something fundamental thats changed - so many things come and go yet she was always a constant.

She was always dignified, humble and truly believed in this country with no particular thought of personal gain - she gave herself truly and without reserve.
