Many have commented that his tweet came across like a speech. I suspect it was the speech he would have given has he still been PM when she died.

I suspect its been known for some weeks that it was coming.

I was surprised how much this effected me. It's been really sad, she was a constant in all our lives, and it was only when I saw the news state she had passed that I suddenly felt her absence.

At least someone noticed in the forum closed header that Her or His Majesty is the correct address for a monarch, and not Her or His Royal Highness which is for a lowly Princess or Prince, and eventually corrected it One was probably not amused!
