Quest 2 accessories - recommendations, reviews etc

your modding your Quest to the Extreme Unseul ?

Not extreme, just to get it comfortable. I really don't care about looks. The audio solution that mvhstudios has looks like it works well with his setup, but I could probably work something out with some normal koss 75s (think that's the popular one isn't it?) I just struggle to justify the cost due to not worrying about audio too much.

EDIT - The headstrap was £20 when I got it, the hat foam tape stuff was £5. Vertical headstrap is from the standard, velcro from all sorts of odds and ends etc :D. The battery was £25 and therefore the most expensive bit!

Should be finished just in time for the release of the Q3.

I'm sort of dreaming that accessories will be compatible. Unlikely though. However, the only bit that would really need to be designed, is whatever the new attachment arms would be I imagine, the headstrap itself could just screw onto that. Or I'll just sell it as a premium headstrap, only a few hundred made etc ;)

Looks like something out of Saw :D
Good price for the strap though, thought it would have been more.
I like the battery pack mount. Would be good if something was available for the gomrvr strap instead of using velcro (although I've not actually played more than 2 hours in one sitting yet).

The strapis now £30 but you can't get them until he sorts his 3d printer farm out i believe.

Tempted to go for a Quest 2 and pass the original to the family/kids - does anyone know if the Quest 1 MVH studios headstrap can be converted to the Quest 2?

One of my hesitation points for the upgrade is the accessories I invested in and not want to go down the rabbit hole again!

Been waiting one of the rear foam pads for the Elite strap from VR cover but it’s been out of stock. Got an email from them saying you can order items via a major online only retailer. It’s only available from European countries however, so bagged one from the German site.
Just in case anyone else was looking out for one.

Have scanned through this thread but there's so much going on it's hard to decide what is actually needed. I'd like to make my Quest 2 as comfortable as, and also to block out the light as well as, my G2.

Is this possible? If so, what would I need, and how cost effectively could I achieve this?
