When using link or vd the image dosnt look as sharp like its running at a lower resolution, is there anyway to supersample it up? Oculus tray tools dosnt seem to work.

Both use compression hence the less sharp image.

Not sure much can be done about it yet but it could improve with updates or optimisations.

Also looks like rainforest driver might have delivered my Q2 yesterday to the wrong address because tracking is showing as delivered to a neighbour at a number too far up the road. Also no note to inform me item was delivered. I checked with the neighbour and nothing was delivered to them , so I recon wrong street ....

I wonder if they will compensate me for my loss

Am I right in thinking you can do everything you can with the cable using virtual desktop and wireless instead?

Yes you can, no real downside to using it that way vs the cable.

Just played avengers endgame 3d via plex through to bigscreen cinema. Very impressive. That robot hover made me jump when it came round lol

Then I sat and watched some hells kitchen on the social media thing. It was great until people kept throwing popcorn and tomatos at the screen.

For a free app, it's fantastic.

Well, I'm having a nightmare with this. Got hold of Yodel CS who gave me the mobile number of the driver and said I had to call them. Called and got "Nah mate, haven't got anything for you". Back on to Yodel CS who tried again to give me the mobile number of the driver but eventually agreed that the parcel is lost at that I should contact Facebook. Facebook say I should go to Yodel to find out where my package is.......
If I don't get anywhere with this by tomorrow I'll just file for a reverse through my CC.

Oh man that sucks!! Sorry to hear you are having all that trouble.

I would just cut and run now, get your money back and order it elsewhere.

Oh man, what a nightmare. I had the same thing with parcelforce and a dell monitor a few years ago.
One random rainy day, I found it sat in the garden wet through.

To top it all off, the delivery driver had forged my signature.....and it even looked like mine!!!!

Agreed, it works better with SteamVR.

It does work with Oculus store too, but it's definitely a bit hit and miss whereas it just works with everything on steamVR.

I believe you can also pair it with revive for at least some of those oculus store games that have problems natively, but that's just another layer of abstraction.

Actually not all games work via Virtual Desktop - Stormlands doesn't work properly for example. Also not everyone can get a decent enough wifi connection. I can't get one good enough in my lounge (it's good enough for normal video streaming and web browsing, but too jittery for wireless VR).

Just waiting for TPLink to release their Wifi 6 EAPs (I run their Omada software in a docker on my NAS), I've already wired 10G to the new games room and will dedicate an EAP with a white list just for the OQ2 and have it in the same room.. If I can get that working with almost no latency it'll be a game changer for sure, I cancelled my order for the Oculus USB cable as I'd rather put that towards a good access point.
