depends on the size of your hooter.

A lot of the aftermarket facial interfaces for Quest, rift etc come with a little flappy rubber piece that reduces the light leakage significantly. I imagine same will be true for aftermarket Quest 2 facial interfaces if it bothers you.
 
Loving this so far. Also don't seem to have much of a motion sickness problem. Tried EchoVR, Journey of the Gods Demo and even ran a roller coaster Sim without issue. Encouraging. Might try that ISS thing next as I gather that's one that gets many people.

Well if so, then the image you get from the "special" cable must be off the charts. As I have been playing most of the evening with amazing fidelity using a less expensive cable. The image is superb, so much improved on my rift. It's stable and I get a very good FPS. I use it mostly sitting so cable weight isn't an issue and has not been at all.

It pretty light and a little thinner than the cable used by the Rift. It feels stronger though due to the construction. I'm less worried about running this over with my chair than I was with my old rift.

Lighter, flexible and makes sure the device is kept charged rather than the battery draining with other cables AFAIK.

I've been using it all evening. About 6 and a half hours. It still has 50% charge. I'm not sure I get the point of this expensive lead. Really though, it's none of my business how you choose to spend your money.

Really like the resolution and clarity, but the greyer black level is noticeable in scenes such as simulated cinemas (eg Bigscreen, void rooms in Netflix and Amazon VR). Really enjoyed just chatting to people in the new Oculus Venues
 
Well, it looks like Yodel have lost my delivery. Called them and they say it's delayed but have no tracking beyond out for delivery yesterday. Suggested I contact Oculus as the package is probably lost.

Mine is currently delayed in Tamworth... then I realise the catalog shop around the corner has loads of them in stock :|
 
Now this is how you launch a product... I can still walk into my local shop and buy one, I can order one for delivery tomorrow too.

Fair play to them! Seems that everyone that wants one can get one at the moment (useless delivery companies aside) and given all the disappointment for people around recent launches like consoles and RTX that is great news.

I hope all you guys with your new Quest 2s are loving them, I’ll just sit here quietly jealous until my G2 arrives lol.
 
Mine is also MIA, post office I used for click and collect is closed due to a roof cave in, says its been delivered, went to the other post office and they claim even though it says delivered it might take a couple of days to get to them......they are phoning me if it turns up. :p
