Quest 3 accessories thread

So what's the go to for a strap which is more comfortable, but doesn't add to the bulk too much?
Saw a Kiwi one that looked interesting:

Does this kind of design put a lot of tension on the over-the-head strap?
I gave in and bought this. First impressions are very good. Immediately you can tell the facial interface isn't pressing on your face (which seems odd, as it isn't a halo design! But there you go).
And - this might just be because I have huge, oddly placed ears - the standard strap went over my ears, whereas this one is away from the head.
The folding point half way along the arms looks like it will make it much easier to put on in the right place every time too.

The only worry will be whether the additional pads and such make it hotter to wear.

I just bought some of these ages ago for with the Rift S:
and they work well. I can see how a set with much shorter wires would be nice though.
To be honest, I haven't even bothered using them with the Q3 yet, the sound quality from the speakers is such an improvement over the Rift S. But I probably should, so it's even better again.

I had some for the Q2 and discretely routed were great.

@drakulton After returning, for now, back to the base facepad, allows the flippy uppy thing to work, and also removing my grip covers, suspected battery drain, not sure tho, I'm kinda normalised in a less impacting way when wearing the Q3.
Even the extended battery pack is showing to have limited value, depending who is using it at the time.

That silicone cover for the std facepad, eBay, is working a treat tho. The one you linked some time back.

Try the Globular Cluster magnetic interface. Comes with three faceplates and three different cushions, plus the nosepiece is removable.
Not currently available that I can find. Keep looking into it and being tempted.

The Globular Cluster facial interface is now available. I just bought one on Amazon.

Unseul, if you are looking to buy, get your order in quick. They are going out of stock fast.

"Globular Cluster facial interface" interesting how they do two types, one for halo type headsets and then the other for stock / elite types.
The three choices of padding material, and then depth adjusting rings seems interesting.

Noticing some mixed comments about light leakage, in particular when the magnetic attached face pad is attached to the base unit, not always an even fit all round, allowing some light to leak. Perhaps variation in manufacturing, altho noting V2 versions of the face pad being made available..?
