Quest 3 owners etc

Every headset I've bought I've had to add another £60 or so to get prescription lenses. It's worth it but it does bump up the cost.
I've found it's money that can't be recouped either, can't sell them because most people have a different prescription. Think I've spent about about £170 on my Q3 now not including games.

The annoying thing is they are generally not interchangable between headsets The only ones I've used on more than one headset are the Quest 1 ones which also work on Quest 2, and would also work on Quest 3s. Quest Pro lenses can't be used on Quest 3 for example.

Just discovered Quest TV has Tested VR... Well that's the next couple of days sorted. :D
ry checking out plutotv (its free via ad support)
you can watch it through bigscreen.

i was looking for some film rental services for the social xmas and stumbled on to it.

Installed walkabout Mini Golf too.
if you want to check out any of the courses let us know and we can show you the course monday nights or something. only one person needs the course for the others to be able to play through it.

Are you watching pluto TV through quest TV or the pluto TV app?

Will need to change where I sit for golf. It really doesn't like me crashed out in the corner of the sofa. :D Makes it tricky to see/hit the ball.

After several attempts, many reboots and much swearing, I've finally got airlink talking to my PC. Took so long. Steam Link and Steam VR worked straight away. Farted around on google earth VR for a little bit. Also bought a couple of games in the sale. Talos Principle VR and Not for Broadcast VR. Love both of them, so getting the VR versions cheap is a nice bonus.

And got my first VR injury. Was playing I expect you to die 2 (Thanks Quest+) and went to throw something that I didn't need away from me and smashed the back of my hand against the sharp corner of my desk. There was blood and a nice bruise today. Is there a badge of honour for this? ;)

You get the Overclockers VR Purple Heart medal for injuries sustained in the pursuit of VR gaming. :p

Do you know exactly what you did to get airlink working again?
