It's more like facial approximation. Not actually tracking but working out your facial expressions from your speech.
Yeah, but I wonder how much headset CPU it's going to use. Is it going to affect game performance?
Got the Iniu link cable today. Will be nice to use that instead of relying on my WiFi.
Got my parents and my other halfs mum to have a go as well. First Encounter was very popular. Didn't cause any motion sickness at all as the room is still partially visible.
Been playing a lot of Waplanes WW1. No motion sickness from it at all anymore. Still get a little from non teleporting movement.

be interested to know how you get on with the Iniu link,
Just given a go for about 40 minutes so far. Using the charger and cable that came with the quest3. Powered it well.
Seems to work nicely. Cant use parents wifi as it's too slow, so teathered worked very well. Length was good. Cable isn't as flexible as it could be, but seems good quality. Used a velcro cable tie to hold it to the back of the headset. Will probably 3d print something better at some point, but it works to stop stress on the usb c port.
I think for £15 it's pretty good.

I've been using the Inui cable since March. It does what it's supposed to do.
It is a little prone to tangling/twisting, but it's not a huge deal.

I asked questions on this thread a while back about getting custom songs on the Quest 3 on Beast Saber.
In case anyone else is considering, I finally got around to trying it out - and it worked very well following these instructions:
But, in fact, they make it sound a lot more complicated than it is. Basically you just have to:
- Join or create an organisation so that it will allow you to use Developer Mode.
- Enable Developer mode using your mobile app.
- Connect your headset to your PC with USB, then go to the ModsBeforeFriday website and connect.
That's all there is to it. The website does everything necessary to ensure your Beat Saber version is the latest compatible with mods, and then installs the main mods itself.
I would definitely recommend adding the "Better song search" mod too (easily done through MBF too) as it makes it massively easier to find the songs you want.
And the Beat Together mod works perfectly - not only can you seamlessly play multiplayer with another headset owner, if you pick a custom song that one of you doesn't have installed, it will automatically download it to that person's headset before you start.
It's more seamlessly usable than most professional software!

I bought some from China for £12.49 delivered. Very pleased with them.
I've had my Quest 3S about a month now and am loving it.
Where did you get them from? How long did they take to get to you?

AliExpress. Took just over a week, I think. Was amazed at how quickly they were made and despatched. Just make sure you put your prescription in properly in the order notes.

Is there a way to remove all the meta horizon worlds that seem to have populated my app launcher? I’ve got these random worlds in there and I’m sure they weren’t there previously. There’s no option to uninstall them.

Probably bloody Meta trying to get you to go in and use them by forcing them in your face, I just select Applications from the left panel so I only see what I have installed, but yes it is annoying.
Aside from clocking lots of Iron Rebelllion hours.
I picked up both Ghosts of Tabor and Contractors Showdown off the store. Both are on sale.
Re: CS - reading back, appears their BR mode has performed poorly. However, their exfil mode is doing really well. Supposedly they are quick to respond to feedback and already delivered on mechanics the team for Tabor have been promising for years.
Got to say even though it's in alpha the exfil mode is really fleshed out. I had 2 decent games- tense. I think I mainly came across scavs rather than players. The weapons feel great and carry weight. The healing system is clever - you damage body parts. Depending on the type of injury you need to use different healing items.
The graphics in CS are more 2024 - decent. I don't feel the need to use PCVR. Tabor graphics are ps3 , pretty bad. Sound is spot on in CS - I know exactly where an enemy is and what they are walking on.
I did have a go at the BR mode and enjoyed it. Bit of a wait to get players to join. Interestingly, the two modes play very different. BR cod-like- fast, arcadey setup. The Exfil mode has stamina bars, completely different healing/injury system (as above). Backpack with limited storage etc. Very different- almost like 2 separate games.
The base development and upgrading system is pretty cool (I've never played tarkov so maybe they've adapted this):
