Yeah geting a strap with a battery is a must just don't waste your money on the meta one.I can easily afford it come next week.
Would you recommend the better strap with the battery pack?
Don’t get the Meta battery strap, they are not working well, and way overpriced.I can easily afford it come next week.

The BoboVR one is £54, and much better.
Wow! Were £54 a week ago.The BoboVR M3 Pro is £46 directly from the BoboVR website. They seem to have brought the price down by £1 which is a bit annoying as myself and one or two others ordered a few days ago at £47 and they've not shipped yet.

So I done some more testing and when going from 200mbps h265 air link to 500mbps h264 quest link the latency drops by 7-8ms according to performance stats and yes I can notice the difference that 7-8ms makes, it’s minimal but it’s there.Anyway to see latency numbers in airlink and wired ? nevermind found it.
Have Bobo got batteries that are actually sufficient to power the Quest 3 in their straps now?
One of the videos said it is hit and miss, some of the bobo batteries power it fine, but many don’t. They will all give you a fair amount of extra play time though.Have Bobo got batteries that are actually sufficient to power the Quest 3 in their straps now?
It's a good app, makes your standalone games look better, sidequest can do the same but u must do it every time you reboot your quest.I'm about to buy the Quest Games Optimiser as it's meant to be amazing. Using it and making personal profiles for games once installed seems pretty straightforward, but am unsure of a few things regarding installation, so I wonder if anyone here has installed and can help.
Can I assume I won't need to install Sidequest, just the QGO apk?
Can I put the app on my Samsung phone and then do I need to just connect a USB cable from phone to Quest 3 to transfer the app to the headset?
I think I need to be in developer mode on the Quest 3, so how do I get into developer mode or where do I find it? Do I need to find and install ADB, whatever that is?
Is there anything else I need to do?

You need to install it via sidequest or i think something called oculus/meta developer tools (i used sidequest).
I think you'll need a pc/laptop but not sure on this.
Developer mode is something u enable in the meta app u have on your phone/tablet, it's buried in there somewhere, look in devices or settings etc.
I'm not sure if u have to install ADB but a quick look at the QGO website mentions it a lot. Tbh your best course of action is to read up on : https://anagan79.itch.io/quest-games-optimizer/devlog/538649/questions-answers
and watch the their setup video guide on https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=inE6HTKZ-ZM&t=57s , follow it carefully and u can't go wrong, it's what i followed to get it setup. I played it on 0.75 speed as i found it quite hard to follow as it shoots through the steps.
Sidequest installation is pretty straightforward and quick. Follow the guide/video on the sidequest website as some of the youtube vids might be out of date now.Thanks. I'll download sidequest then. Hope that's easy to install as I'm sure I saw a youtube video about ita while ago and it looked like a bit of a faff.
