Iirc u start the video then click the cube icon then select 3DHSBS (or something like that)
Just tried it. Thanks for the help, I missed the cube button earlier. Works perfectly in 3DFSBS. It's very impressive to watch!

What's the best way to take screenshots and record video of VR gameplay?
I noticed when playing Arizona Sunshine through AirLink it was mirrored on my monitor so I presume for that I could just use AMDs recording software?
Just learnt of a quite cool feature of the Quest Games Optimizer, it enables the recording of your own 3D videos with passthrough. To anyone interested here's how :
go into video capture settings (top right) of QGO and in eye selection choose side by side for 3D capture. Then open the camera app, select record video, then record a video in passthrough. Then open the files app, open the video u just recorded, then select the icon in the bottom right and choose 3D side by side, voila your own 3D video.
Yeh, the resolution of the recorded video can also be changed in QGO, i've tried it and the quality is ok, it's not a bit grainy/warpy/etc like the passthrough u see in the headset.I suppose depending on the quality of the recorded passthrough video, it might be worth taking the headset on trips out.

i bring up the user interface enable airlink to my pc then start up steam vr then after im in steam vr i switch to my pc to start the game. there maybe a easier way to do it but have only just got mine.Guys can someone tell me the process for launching a steam VR game..
I downloaded Half Life Alyx but whenever i try to launch it, it mentions there's not VR headset found, I've the oculus app running, I'm sure it's something simple I've missed.
Using the cable buddy.are you running via Airlink or Virtual Desktop or ?
I'm using a cable, I'm sure it's something simple I must be missing it has to be, I'll keep trying.i bring up the user interface enable airlink to my pc then start up steam vr then after im in steam vr i switch to my pc to start the game. there maybe a easier way to do it but have only just got mine.
Don't want to put a downer on the strap but there's a reddit post saying the strap blew up a charger and had serious buzzing. They are saying that YouTube video is just nonsense. And click bait.
Fingers crossed everything is ok though, a couple of people on the post said that theirs were fine
Happy to report no buzzing noise with the Aubika, it holds the charge of the Q3, and no blown up charger.
Is it holding a charge when the Q3 is at 100% and 50%?
Keep goingHeld at 100% for 10 mins with the battery on. Turned off the battery for and let it dip to 95%, turned it back on and half an hour later it was still on 95%.
I bought Beat Saber through the Quest 3 and have played it just fine. I was just looking at my library on the pc app and noticed it wasn't there and I only have the option to purchase it. Upon looking this up I found out they are two separate stores so games purchased in one doesn't show up in the other one. Is this correct? That seems like madness. Is there anyway to get them showing in both libraries?
^^ this.. however once you've started steam VR from within the headset.. instead of starting the game on your pc you can.. if you're in a dark environment (with mountains in the background) and nothing else, a click on the left controller menu button brings up the steam games interface. You can then search / start your steam games from there.i bring up the user interface enable airlink to my pc then start up steam vr then after im in steam vr i switch to my pc to start the game. there maybe a easier way to do it but have only just got mine.
That just seems crazy to have two separate stores like that.Yes, this is correct. They are separate libraries and so will not show both. Some games are 'cross buy' where if you purchase a game for the Quest you may have free access to the PC version and vice versa. This does not apply to all games, so you may have to buy the game twice if you want to play it on PCVR and mobile and have it show up in both libraries.
thanks for that it certainly better than having to take the headset off to start the game off the desktop. when i started airlink for the first time and went to the oculus store there is asgards wrath for the pcvr that new owners can download for free.^^ this.. however once you've started steam VR from within the headset.. instead of starting the game on your pc you can.. if you're in a dark environment (with mountains in the background) and nothing else, a click on the left controller menu button brings up the steam games interface. (although having said this i did it the other day to be greeted by a completely new Steam VR interface, without having to click the menu button, Steam VR 2.0?)
