I believe meta are trying to amalgamate the two libraries which is why there is no longer the familiar PCVR oculus home environment.

You should be able to get a steam icon in oculus/meta PCVR menu and launch steam from within the oculus environment.

i was dissapointed the PC oculus home was blapped. the amount of time i spent arguing with oculus because i didnt have my "golden DK2" or "golden CV1 with touch controllers" for my home due to them for some reason screwing my account up.
I got them in the end but they are gone now anyway. (it was pointless anyway, once i had them i never did anything with them other than put them on a virtual shelf)
the pcvr home envoronment was good however with a lot of potential.

how ? mine stopped working must be getting on for a year ago.
Installing older oculus software.
I have a 11/2017 copy of the oculus installer and the oculus download cache for version 1.20 (which has the old oculus home) How do I go about installing it on a PC without connecting to the internet. I can make the files available for those that also want to have a crack at it.

I still have the home type environment from when I had my Vive. Never really interacted with it much.
The vive home is different to the meta/oculus and steam ones.

Two of my friends had this strap delivered yesterday..it holds the charge no problems at all but both straps has serious buzzing and interference coming through the speakers.
Looks like they are suffering from quality control issues
I let the battery dip to 50% before turning on the battery pack yesterday and still no buzzing.
Did they buy the updated model? I see there's one on the rainforest with 59 ratings that seems to have had issues and a newer one with only 5 ratings (which is what I went for).

Essential frankly. Been using adapters on all VR headsets since the Vive and it's always the first accessory on the list.
Unless you're constantly swapping the headset between people, and even then, it only takes a couple seconds to slip off.

Quest Games Optimiser is a great app and really does sharpen everything up. But I had jittery movement in a couple of games when I increased the resolution, (RepubliqueVR and Red Matter 2) even when just using a preset and not touching the custom sliders. So I had to restore to default. It's not that the game slowed down or anything but I want the motion to be smooth.
