You will no doubt end up with some sort of headstrap with battery, facial interface, then maybe a charge/PCVR cable, that's about it really..
Prescription or non-prescription [plano] lens protectors are also highly recommended.

Had mine for about 2 months now and have have already got a battery halo strap and a second battery, facial interface, link cable that charges, lens cover (for when not in use), carry/storage case, knuckle straps for the controllers and have prescription lenses next on the list.
Are there any truly stand out games on the Quest 3 people would recommend?

"v74, as it will remove the ability to install apks. This will render the installation of apps such as QuestGamesOptimizer impossible."
saw this on reddit, needs a bit more verrification.
"it seems like this issue is being caused because Meta is in the process of removing the standard Android package installer that has always been part of HorizonOS and replacing it with their own custom package installer. This means good odds that this isn't an accidental side effect. Apparently a lot of different devs who install packages outside of the meta store are trying to find workarounds but unable to really find any documentation on it yet. This makes sense if Meta's trying to harden up security a little, it still lets developers install using ADB bridge from the developer hub, but leaves Quest store as the only way to install packages directly on the headset itself."
something to watch for now
@Ravenger Just curious, if you were forced to pick between a Quest Pro and the Quest 3 for PCVR which would you choose?
Now, will do me a favour and just answer the question with "I would pick the Quest 3" or "I would pick the Quest Pro"
Please, don't explain why you would pick one over the other. I just want your immediate gut reaction to the question. Will give you a chance to expand on your answer with my next question!!![]()
Quest Pro.
Really? OK, A friend of a Friend has a Quest Pro for sale for a really good price. He would sell it to me for not much more than the price of controllers would be new. He is giving me a few days to decide before he puts it up for sale. But I am not sure if I want to get it. Since I will be using it mainly for PCVR use, I said I would ask you which would you pick.
Would you consider it worthwhile to have both the Quest Pro and the Quest 3? I am also a bit concerned with what future updates will do to the Quest Pro.
If someone were to offer you the Quest Pro for £350, would you consider that a good buy?
I'd buy an other in an instant at that price as a backup for my existing pro.
At that price it's worth a risk. If you don't like it you could easily sell it for more than that.
I almost never use my Q3 for PC. The comfort (with the globular cluster kit), colour and contrast are so much better on the Pro. I much prefer the controllers too - as long as Meta don't keep messing with their firmware and causing issues.
Thank you for the advice Ravenger!!
Now I have another decision to make. Do I take the advice on image quality from a sarcastic old man who struggles to see the hole in walkabout mini golf. hmmmm.![]()
Alternatively you can give me your friends details and I will gladly take it off his hands for the asking price, which will save you the trauma of a difficult decision.![]()
