lol everyone is going to be wearing Glasses now, even though you don't need glasses !
The interface is adjustable, so you can effectively move the lenses further away, making room for glasses.. a neat idea, although I guess might reduce the field of view slightly.Did they mention how glasses wearer can use this? It doesn’t look like it is backwardly compatible with the prescription lenses of Quest 2.
Understandable.I think I’ll wait a bit before jumping in, just spent almost £800 on a new camera and accessories today.
What are people thinking? Sounds good to me... 2 screens pancake lenses - it would be my first headset - is it worth pre-ordering or do I wait for all the details?
Also would you go for a Q3 or ultra wide OLED?
Bit of a price jump for the 512gb version! Don't think I'd like to go below 256gb really. Interesting to see Meta is now offering their own index style straps. That's a great move.

Looks great at first impressions. Don't think I'll go for one for a while as the Pro does have some definite advantages. Looks like Q3 is best for standalone, but Pro for PCVR.
Besides, add a better back strap, Pro controllers and a charging dock and it's approaching or even exceeding Pro price which includes all those.
That said, if I didn't have a Quest Pro I'd be bashing that pre-order button right now.
For sim racing, resolution is king for me, the Q3 has a nice res bump over the pro which Tested said was instantly noticeable, and also helped with the newer pancake lens design so I think will suit for that PCVR duty quite well.Looks great at first impressions.
