QUICK QUESTION!

Not sure what you mean by jfp, but this is what it should look like on your motherboard I think:

The power switch WILL take up at least 2 pins.

Okay, well I'm guessing it's still not working? If so, try and take every f panel connector out, and just leave Power_SW plugged in, and try it in every combination you could plug it in, possible until you get it to work. Then go about plugging in the others; this isn't ideal, but may be your final solution.

Ok, let's ignore JFP2 for now. That's just where the CMOS/BIOS speaker and some LEDS will go; you took a picture of the BIOS speaker earlier.

Anyway, let's focus on JFP1, plug the POWER_SWITCH in to where I've highlighted, don't bother with anything else other than POWER_SWITCH and JFP1.

Will do in morning, if that doesn't work have I broken something ;/ ?...

Thanks for sticking with me im just as frustrated with the build as you probualy are with me haha!

I highly doubt you've broken something, anyway, give it a go when you get time. I don't mind helping you out, I understand how frustrating technology can be at times :)

Got the system booted upppp! No initial post boost beeps!

Everything is working however the front fan isn't as i don't think thats properly connected.

As I need to put more of the front pannel connectors in can I just turn the computer off by the mains on the wall or just pull the socket out?

Okay so put the speaker connector in and there were no BEEPS that would indicate theres any errors. The front fan isn't working I don't know which wires i need to plug in to get the fan working. I've plugged in the HDMI cable but on my televison theres no signal to monitor :( any ideas?

Cheers

trace the wires to the front fan, there should either be a 3 pin fan header or a molex connector, if its molex just connect it directly to a molex on you're psu, if its 3 pin either plug it into a fan header on the motherboard or a fan header from a molex adapter.

as for no output, do you have another moniter you can try a different output on, such as a vga or dvi moniter, it might be you have to play around with the bios setting before hdmi is aloud to work.

otherwise, make sure all cables are firmly connected to youre motherboard, and make sure there is the smaller motherboard power connector properly connected, hope this helps
