Quiet cpu cooler for Ryzen 7 2700

Ideally use a drill press or clamp panel you are drilling 120mm hole in between 2 pieces of wood and drill at slow speed. Keep in mind the cutting tip speed of 60mm radius from center of drill is moving many, many times faster than cutting edges of a 13mm drill bit. The speed of saw teeth on 120mm hole saw are moving very fast even with drill turning over quite slowly.

What part of country are you located in?

NH-U12S is a good cooler, but it is way more expensive for marginally better cooling .. and that's why I didn't mention it.

I am disappointed with the fans on this cooler. I just created a thread asking if I can attach a different fant to it. Both the origonal and the replacement fan wibbled when spinning, not massively but enough to make the whole case hum due to vibration. I am hoping to get an arctic fan fitted to it as they are quiet and light weight too.

Noctua is expensive but they have very good customer support. Have you emailed their customer support about your problems? I suggest you do that and tell them about how bad the fans are. Please keep us posted as to how they respond and deal with your problems with their fans.
I can suggest replacement fans, but honestly, if Noctua will replace the defective fans you have with good ones, that is what I would do first. Then if they don't meet your requirements look at new fans. Part of the problem you have (as I've said before) is extremely limited case airflow. I would use the same fan as top intake as whatever fan works well on cooler .. because all the air coming in top vent is goning through cooler and out back of case.

I think you are getting me mixed up with m2 as we do not know what case he is using ;)
