Propaganda at it's finest.![]()
Propaganda at its worst more like! The website is joke and so are the benchmark numbers; totally unbelievable.
Please remember that any mention of competitors, hinting at competitors or offering to provide details of competitors will result in an account suspension. The full rules can be found under the 'Terms and Rules' link in the bottom right corner of your screen. Just don't mention competitors in any way, shape or form and you'll be OK.

Somehow I don't think ATI begin designing a next gen card after the competitor has released theirsLolcb said:ATi is working their arse off thinking how to make a card to beat the G80.

Maybe they had one before they were launched! Zomg tinfoil hat mode = on all.Lolcb said:and they probably have a g80 card in their test lab now and running benchmarks and games 24/7 to compare and beat it.
Even before that they said that R600 was coming in early 2007.gord said:Wasnt this around when the AMD purchase was happening? Id have thought it would be natural to push back the deadlines considering the corporate change.
easyrider said:I think when R600 comes out it will be top dog over the 8800 series.
However this will last a month or so.
NV will refresh the 8800 series and ATI will be playing catch up once more.
After all IQ quality and AA and HDR at the same time is already a NV feature so speed will be the only factor.
Something that NV are very good at.
Bored waiting TBH for ATI's effort.
