R600 Benchmarks??

Wonder if it will be March then, i wouldn't take Inkwell's word, but they have heard March, and you and i have, hmm, it would be a bit late that.

probally is march but i bet ati have improved thier iq and picture quality making it much better which is why its a huge shock

The last revision of the prototype chip - upon which a certain "pre-review" is based - also suffers from problems which are serious enough to get another re-spin, sources tell me. This re-spin puts a hold on the launch for another couple of weeks, and now R600 is looking like an early March launch

Come on AMD, we need the competition :)

I don't really know how you can get much better, nVidia have really raised the bar this time with regards to IQ. I'm not saying ATi can't do better, I'd love to see an even better picture when gaming. It'll be tough!

I know I've used these before, but just look at how good the AF is on the G80 compared to ATi's current cards (more round the circle the better... apparently):-

If ATi can do one better again that'd be fantastic!

Thats all you hear from ati these days, delay delay delay, x1800 was delayed for what like 7 months or more, then they get the x1900 out on time which wasn't a big shocker as it was practically identical to the x1800 minus a few additions to the core.

If ati want to be #1 for any length of time theyre gonna have to get the thumb out and get products out on time instead of delaying them up the wazoo time after time.
