Race Driver: Grid

im using 175.16_geforce_winvista_32bit_english_beta which might help upgrading to for nVidia users, i get no gfx related problems using them

managed to get my wheel to work a bit better, it just needs a lot of fine tuning

Lovin the muscle car street race around San Francisco. It's absolutely brutal!!

Needs menu control with the joy pad though.

wow... :( again no crossfire support :( same was with dirt dont send message on start now it stuck on intro :( when i disable my 2nd card it works fine same was with dirt :( i hope they fix it :(

My 512MB of gxf mem is not enough at my native res of 2560x1600.
It was pausing rapidly & my system mem usage jumped upto over 4GB
at 1920x1080 seems ok system mem at 2.3GB.

Just had a really odd graphics moment. Suddenly went all blocky, looked like tetris!! Paused into menu went to options and all was fine again.

Definitely not near to being a finished game

Might have a look as multiplayer later after QI.

Runs like glass at 1920x1200 with AA on my Ultra :D

Looks very good actually but it's utterly unplayable with a keyboard so I'm gonna have to dig out a gamepad or my wheel later.

i've seen ppl getting same problem on dirt with crossfire setups :( what OS u have?

Vista 64.
but have no idea if im getting more than one card performance. if this is single card performance then it should run like s dream when it gets multi gpu support :)

Sorry boss, Codemasters have the following to say about multi-GPU configurations (source):

viii) Is ATI’s Crossfire or NVIDIA’s SLI supported?

Unfortunately, due to the working of GRID’s engine, systems which link two or more graphics cards (i.e. Crossfire or SLI) are not implicitly supported. This means you may not see a performance boost from having the second card, and you may even have trouble running the game. If GRID is failing to start properly and your system is SLI or Crossfire enabled, try disabling the technology in either NVIDIA’s or ATI’s control panel in Windows and see if this helps.
