whats the best and cheapest way to get into this? ill be using a ps4 pad to drive with, so maybe this will be too sim for me?

also are the offline championships v AI any good?

can't complainmment on what this is like to play with a controller. As I use a wheel.

And the game now supports OpenVR, albeit not well. It's suffering from poor framerates even on very capable hardware. At least it's a step forward though

Still watching this, the biggest thing putting me off is a lack of damage modelling by the looks of it.

Oh the cosmetic damage model is poor. I cant deny that.

Game-play is top notch though.

Thats the biggest shame for me. As much as its just cosmetic, it adds to the immersion for me if there are battered up AI cars rolling around the track.

I love DTM though and this has that, so im split.

As a Iracing player I'm quite jealous of the amount of content that sector3 manage to churn out. Do they have laser scanned tracks?

I know the Nurburgring is laser scanned... Doubt the other tracks are. Silverstone could be.

I got all the content for this game recently for a good price and I have to say so far I'm really impressed, especially with the FFB and the sound of the cars.

The AI seem to be quite good, stick them on 100% and they do pose a good challenge on most tracks, on a few others they need bumping over the 100% mark.

All I'm waiting for now is for the VR implementation to be improved a bit more, somewhat nearer to the level found in the likes of Assetto Corsa which is IMHO excellent.

i just bought the starter pack, and european track pack/usa pack, and zakspeed capri, as i had one when i was younger, awesome ffb/sounds, great sim.

Digiprost makes me sick with envy how he has his screens and rig setup, this is a must for me this year. Video really sells this game as well for me, enjoyable watch for sure.
