Radeon RX 480 "Polaris" Launched at $199

3D Mark bench are 100% legit as videocardz said, so that gives a pretty solid feel for the performance.
price there is no real magic to it $msrp to £ add 20% then add 5-10%, you will get the spot on price, you can apply it to the 10 series.

Actually we don't know that's the problem - too many variables; what bios? what drivers? what speed were the cards at; Videocardz has been wrong or down played things in the past.....I'm not saying they are now; but again we don't have enough information.....

we're not talking just a couple % points here; but 10+% which wouldn't fall into acceptable variable error or difference......;)

Also the crossfire scaling is off by a mile for what is normal in 3d mark.

I can tell people 100% concrete which the validity of is completely without question.

Nothing will ever impress me more or outperform a voodoo on this.

I had an AGP 6800LE which unlocked from 8 pixel pipelines to full 16 pipelines and full shader complement of the top end chips. It was glorious for the money.

Confirming something is legit because the person who said it said it was! lol

you might not trust videocardz, but i do, when they say they are sure about something it usualy turns out the way they said, and from couple weeks back i already said that more and definitive leaks would start showing when AMD ships to retailers (high volume), im maybe more inclined to trust them because i was expecting it.

Its terribly sad that their GPUs have gone the way their CPUs did :(

This is the Gp106 competitive product and looks like it will quite easily beat the GP106 based on the supposed performance of this vs where the 1080/1070 are at. Vega 11 will likely beat Gp104 and Vega 10 is likely to beat GP102.

Seriously, this just in 100% legit, RX480 gets double what the 1080 does in 3dmark. Saying something is 100% legit doesn't make it so.

you mean the crossfire RX480 ? why wouldn't it be legit ?

No, he is saying that you can't be certain about what the performance will be. Until the NDA lifts we are still just speculating and shouldn't trust information from any source even ones that claim their scores are 100% legit. Saying it doesn't make it true.

Not really bothered with who you trust, the point is - you dont confirm a rumor by going to the same source and them saying, "Yea, it's legit, I swear".

They may be better than garbage sites like fudzilla, but have been wrong before as has every rumour-monger site.
As pointed out by meldarthx even if the info is right it's still lacking in many vital details so it's basically no better than a rumour.

Just curious Sean speed, are you American? Regarding your comment I wouldn't trust anything on the internet unless confirmed by multiple independent sources. Even major news outlets disagree sometimes on simple facts like how old someone is!

moved on from overclocker's dream already ? :p you only repeated that for like a dozen times, how many times should we expect this one to be repeated for ?

Leave Loads alone Alamo!

He clearly feels like he got burnt on his Fury crossfire purchase and this is his defence mechanism kicking in the poor fella.

That said, there was plenty of info available showing going crossfire at the time was a bad idea, so in the end it was self inflicted pain :p

when you tried to tell them but they shout you down and you right all along

Lol, it's all in the spelling. I used to be in QA in the pharmaceutical industry. US spelling is like a stab in the eye with a sharp stick ;)

Lol, you won't like me then, being a Brit in the US having to write an my stuff in US English. Hard to flip flop between them as so similar.
