Radeon RX 480 "Polaris" Launched at $199

So, at first it was all a good laugh leaving the EU, who would have thought it would have actually effect real life and death situations.
Is there any chance we can go back and have a revote. Just putting that out there.

Alessio1989 on the OC results in the Polish review:

"- They received an unlucky sample (artefacts).
- We received a luck sample (over-volt is needed).

We will post all after NDA."

So it appears there is still hope!

Just curious, why do you insist on putting the cost of delivery into the price of the card? Delivery to Ireland is going to cost the same whether you buy a 970, 390x or 480.

For the 480 you seem to be adding the delivery costs then complaining about how much it costs and then saying it's terrible price/performance.

I never once said it's terrible price to performance. I only stated once after the card's base price creeps to £230+ it's going to start losing it's price to performance edge.

Also I include the price, because, you know, I have to actually pay it.

If you lot in the UK were forced to also include the price of shipping you would.
Or should we only look at the price excluding VAT like they do in the USA?

My main complaint is that with OcUK upping their prices it makes it more expensive for me, to the point I might need to look to the mainland to buy the GPU.

I prefer not to do that due to issues with RMAs, and delays in shipping.

According to Japanese site TotalSuperPCGamingFuntime.com The Rx480 fails to beat a Rx470 in Horrace goes skiing.
