DPD takes a full working week to get to me, and that was checked with an NV card :/

If I take a snail mail it'll only drop the price by €12. That's still 288.52 for what is listed as an 218 card.

I've never once since buying from 2006 onwards ever had free shipping to Ireland.

Think it used to keep recording gameplay even when I disabled it... and every time I update the drivers, it reset it back (and also defaulted to installing it)... so I just untick it each time...

Probably should try it again... it has been over a year now lol
 
hey guys my monitor only has a dvi connection and since these cards don't have the dvi connector would i need to buy a adaptor or is one included in the box?

my initial point still stands that with the pound weakening the cards are getting cheaper for us in Ireland

200 pound times 145 (pound conversion) is 290 euro 8 gig pre brexit and confirmed would be price by gibbo

220 pound to euro today is 265 euro a saving of 25 euro

And I checked with a evga gtx970 sc and it shows up at 235 pound in paypal That is what I pay and NO shipping costs
 
what's the deal these days with custom coolers? It's a long time since i've dabbled (9800XT days when i took off the amd cooler and stuck a gpu silencer on it). Is it still really easy to get custom heatsinks and fans? Not really interested in going watercooled route.

I think what people mean by custom coolers is when the manufacturers like ASUS, MSi, Gigabyte etc release the card with their own coolers on.

I don't know what you're doing with your account and if you're shipping to somewhere in the UK, but I always have shipping costs to my address in Ireland. :(

Just curious, why do you insist on putting the cost of delivery into the price of the card? Delivery to Ireland is going to cost the same whether you buy a 970, 390x or 480.

For the 480 you seem to be adding the delivery costs then complaining about how much it costs and then saying it's terrible price/performance.
