wow man your obsessed, seriously.... seriously sad, i mean on a proper mental level, you need to let it go dude lol....

That 1060 will be approx £50-80 more expensive than the 480 for a HUGE 15% performance increase, and as for power lol, yeah AMD dropped the ball massively with the 480's power, thats your only valid angle for argument, and most people dont even care about power....

But on a serious not, mate either get some mental health help, or let the AMD hate go, its not healthy for you buddy and really its making you look a bit of a fool on these forums now. I used to think you was a pretty reasonable fellow but your sinking to complete new depths here with the constant vitriol.

:( :D

In the other thread Gibbo said around the 1325-1350 range i think.

Correct. I'll re-quote this again for you all.

Yes over reference it has:

- 8-Pin
- DVI Port
- OC out of box (1325-1350MHz region, TBC)
- Black Shroud
- Removable fans for cleaning
- Backplate
- MSRP 275.99 GBP (OcUK is trying to get lower)

I really like it and as always the Nitro will be one of the best if not best cards on market for aesthetics, cooling, reliabity etc. and now they have 3yr warranty is also great. :)

Overclock to only 1.4 is not exactly impressive. If these cards had got to 1.5 at least, that would have been impressive.

I will keenly be watching the manufacturers alternative versions to see if they can do better than reference. Also have to consider the price. Unless they are around 250GBP I doubt they will be good value for money.

I keep going to buy a reference model... but then cancel my order every time lol. Trying to stop my impulse purchase.

Well, technically it said OVER 1.4GHz but doesn't say how much over.

in any forum, you have maybe max 10 users often less than that has 90%+ of forum posts about a subject normally. so are those 10 people representative for the forum gpu or are they trolls, entusiasts or plain ignorant along the way?

If you check this thread you find that very few of the major posters have an amd card or are buying a 480 so why do they even post here or are allowed to?

I am interested in the AIB cards and also have had a number of AMD cards, the 750ti is a temporary stand in from my media pc (replacing an R9 290 as I have mentioned previously in this thread), so not sure why you're aiming this at me?

Gibbo has just stated the Sapphire Nitro will be £250 delivered...

Sapphire Gods have listened Nitro shall be 249 delivered on OcUK !!! :)

Take my money now, sold.

Edit - When will you have them in?

Edit 2 - Presume that's 8GB? It'll probably be worth the wait then..... presume we'll know more about the 1060 at that point too.

That's fantastic. You're definitely better than AMD at managing expectations :P

Now the question is.. do i return my 4GB one and plonk an extra £75 for a better card or stick with what should be good enough at 1080p

Return your Ref card, Gibbo also stated that Powercolor cards usually come in at the cheaper end as well, if the Sapphire is £250, the Powercolor one is probably close to that as well, and if if its true that its over 1400 out the box, thats going to be a pretty nice card for the money.

Even the reference 480 can overclock to 1425MHz already (with aftermarket cooling) so AIB cards with better power delivery will surely go higher. There's even a watercooled 480 @ 1480MHz somewhere so I reckon 1500MHz+ is acheivable with more voltage.
