Radiohead

Looking forward to listening later - I'm surprised there are 2 songs on there that have been floating around for years though. It's like 9 new songs + 2 old ones with new arrangements.

Just purchased the 24bit wav format, I've only heard burn the witch, was enough (along with it you know, being Radiohead) to sell me on the album.

Enjoying it so far - the aquarium album :p

My girlfriend may have just ruined identikit with her interpretation of the lyrics: "may your arse... Make it rain" lol :D

In Rainbows was the album that got me into Radiohead. Since then, have loved them.

This new album is immense. It's top tier Radiohead for sure. Perhaps surpasses In Rainbows. It's incredibly good. Extremely dark though. Wasn't really able to handle it at times on first listen. It's 10/10 from me though.

I think I'll need to listen to this one a fair bit to enjoy it more. It's quite samey to me, like a few of the songs on recent Radiohead albums. Burn the Witch is the most distinct song on it. Though I'm enjoying Ful Stop too.

Only listened to the album once so far but I really enjoyed it.

Has potential to be my new favourite. I'm already going to call it as being better than Hail to the Thief, Amnesiac, Pablo Honey and King of Limbs.

It's dark for sure.

Beautiful album. Closing it with a studio version of True Love Waits (after all those years!) is just perfect. Lots of memories associated with the live version of the song, so to hear it reimagined with the band's/Thom's own hindsight from the last 20-odd years was overwhelming.

It really is :D ... if it ends in a draw then so be it.

Given that I'm still listening to pretty much all Radiohead, the comparison seems fair... This new one is truly glorious.

On first listen, it's seeming very easy to get lost in this one... It's stirring musical emotions, and that's a bloody good thing.

We should do a zombie thread in 20 years, when I reckon it'll have passed the Talk Talk test!

Gonna have a listen now, but I'm not holding out much hope. They completely lost their way with OK Computer and have been on a downward spiral ever since.

Not a popular viewpoint, I know, but Pablo Honey and The Bends were amazing. Everything else? Not so much.
