It's only because your images are 1440px wide... if you make them a maximum width of 1280 pixels - then you can post the photos without spoiler tags.

If you use a hosting platform like Flickr, it'll automatically resize your photos for you and give you the forum code to just copy and paste.

Also, if you do want to post bigger photos, you don't have to put each one individually in spoiler tags, you can put them all in one - I've edited your post above to show that difference.

This baby arrived today:

Unfortunately some idiot from a specific smiley company that has their own delivery sub-company delivered my motherboard to somebody else. Funny thing is they also have a signature with my name, but obviously not mine. An investigation is taking place but they will not send me a replacement until the investigation is over which means at least 48 hours. I made the complaint 2 days ago, I'm curious what they're gonna tell me today.

Very nice. Will be good once they deliver you somewhere to put it. I've had couriers deliver to the wheelie bin before. Next door-but-7's bin at that.

They said the investigation is not yet finished so I'm stuck without a motherboard. There was also a keyboard and the Windows in that shipment around £900 total. Obviously someone forged my signature and kept the items but nobody asks me for a specimen signature. This is so annoying!

Ouch, that sucks. Hope they sort it soon mate, never had problems with the smiley lot yet but some delivery companies (hi Yodel! *waves*) can be an absolute nightmare when things go missing :(

Have you asked any neighbours if they signed for it when you were out and just not bothered popping it round? I got very angry at a company a while back, then found out it had been sat next door for days and they'd forgotten to tell me... :D

I've had deliveries from the same company's delivery sub-company (A..N logistics) and they don't even bother to take your signature. Sometimes they just left it at the door and didn't even knock. I live in a block of flats and it happened to have the delivery done at the flat with the number of the building. I've recovered it after I searched the whole building but they never even left a note in the mail box.
This time was the worst. The GPS in driver's van showed it stopped across the street. I don't even know those people. But the fact that there is a signature which clearly reads my first name is really suspicious. How can I go across the street and ask: "Did you by any chance happen to have forged a signature and kept somebody else's parcel?".
Clearly somebody fudged up but why they don't send me a replacement until they get to the bottom of this is beyond me.

If it's holding you up from progressing, can you talk to them and suggest they ship you a new set and just charge you if they discover you've lied to them?

I asked for a replacement several times but they wouldn't have it which I know it is very unusual for this company.
Probably they consider me one of the suspects and treat me as such but for me it's mind boggling how can they just exclude me from their so-called investigation and don't compare my handwriting with whatever signature they got.
I've just got an email from them informing me that the investigation takes longer than expected but they don't give me any details.
I could have ordered a new set and wait patiently the outcome but this investigation of theirs is very dodgy and until it's settled they won't see any more money from me.
And if it is settled they better compensate me properly for the delay caused by their incompetence.

Some more stuff that arrived.

Still no word from the "investigation" so yesterday I decided to buy the whole lot again and deal with their mess later. At least they will not delay me anymore. If they actually deliver to the proper address this time around, it should arrive today.

I've been thinking about it and since I know I'm innocent their investigation will end up with a refund for me if they find the lost delivery or not. If they somehow find me guilty of fraud it will be only 2 things: malicious intent from --snip-- or me being framed by whoever forged my signature. Either way this will end up in court and I will make such a big scandal that you will probably see me on TV.

I know I mentioned the company's name above and it is against the rules to mention competition. If this is wrong I will remove it but I think it is useful for anybody who reads this to know what even the biggest companies are capable of.

If it is allowed I can mention another company that messed up one of my deliveries and I think you should stay clear of them. Luckily that has been settled but PayPal had to intervene. Maybe one moderator can let me know as I don't want to break any more rules.

No You cannot mention competitors - If in doubt leave it out - I suggest you re-read the FAQ. Thanks - Armageus

If they don't decide you're innocent then two things:
1. You can claim off the credit card company under Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act.
2. They're actually accusing you of either theft or fraud and you should probably (at that point) involve the police.

The unthinkable has happened:

"We’re sorry to hear that you haven’t received your Windows 10 Professional 32-bit/64-bit English International, ASUS RAMPAGE V EDITION 10 "The revered Republic of Gamers" Motherboard - Black & Logitech G910 Orion Spectrum RGB Mechanical Gaming Keyboard from order #xxxxxxxxxxxxxx. We have fully investigated this matter with the carrier.

It appears the parcel was signed for by "My forename here"

Based on the results of our investigation, we won’t be able to provide a replacement/refund for this order at this time as the item was delivered to the given address. If you believe the item has been stolen, you may wish to contact your local police, if necessary, in order to pursue this matter further. If the issue isn't resolved after contacting local police please contact us again with the police crime report number, details and phone number of the station where the incident was reported, and the name of the investigating officer.

Thank you for your understanding and We look forward to seeing you again soon.

Warmest regards,
--snip--

Well done --snip-- ! They didn't even bother to compare the signatures. They say it's the Police's job. How outrageous is this???

I'm calling the Police!

Well I for one won't ever be buying off them again, that's ridiculous! Good luck though, hope you manage to prove your innocence and get the cash refunded then plaster it over as much social media as possible :)

That's frsutrating... make the police report and send them the details, then you'll get your refund.

Also you can do a chargeback for none-receipt... whether the purchase was made by credit or debit card (section 75 is credit card only but you can do debit card chargeback) - just contact your card issuer and explain the situation.

Given that your first name is on the address label of the parcel - which is handed to the person (or already in the hands of the driver) before being asked to sign - I don't think they can claim the signature is any proof you received it....or didn't receive it, to be fair. All it really proves is that someone scribbled on a screen. That could be you (not suggesting it was), a neighbour, the driver or anyone else.
