Raspberry Pi - $35 Linux computer

Ii don't understand why they don't stick the shop on something scaleable like the amazon cloud, while I appreciate what they're doing and the fact that it's a charitable venture they don't half tend to come off looking like arrogant amatuers.

I'm sure in their fan base they have more than enough knowledge to get these issues they constantly have sorted.

Got the register interest page on RS...still waiting for Farnell. And now I'm not tired so can't go back to sleep!
 
I tried to preorder on Farnell but it doesn't add the item to the basket!

RS is just a register your interest page. Its obviously not ready to be sold if you ask me.

If you're only seeing "register an interest" on RS's site, you're on the wrong page.
 
Not having much luck here either. This is the first time since I was a kid that I got up early to try and get something I was excited about. Now I remember why I don't do that any more :p

Back to sleep methinks.
 
I got as far as the Farnell search page but then it just crashed out again, I've registered my intrest with RS so hopefully get an email when they go on sale.

Still cant believe its only £21.50. They really are not making a margin on this.

Both sites work for me but the products is not for sale yet. Im not going to sit here hitting F5 for the next hour. Will check back later on.
