Gone for this one from eBay. Not sure how good it'll be when I get my hands on it but I like the sleek look and the fact it doesn't have the PCB on view. It's only £4.99 so not the end of the world if it's crap but it looks decent from what I've seen. Hopefully it'll fit the Pi 2.

RS have screwed up my order for the pi2. Got my order confirmation for 2nd Feb dispatch with next day delivery at 10.30 am yesterday. Then in the in afternoon they follow up with another email with a delivery date in April. Order cancelled, will try pihut instead (because cpc won't deliver anywhere other than my card address and I'm not home during the day).

Hello... I've got raspain on a micro sd card into a SD adapter, it's all setup as a headerless server running quite a few services.

Just wondering if it should work if I plugged it into a pi2? if so; I grab one now; if not I wait until the hype has died down and sort some time out to set it all up.

I think you will have to atleast change some files as your moving from armv6 to armv7. May require a lot of changes for raspbian but I would say it definately wont work just switching cards.

I've ordered one now, it's in stock.. hopefully it won't take me too long. I don't use the gui side much, I'm normally just ssh into it.

I have just spoken to RS, they are working through a huge backlog of orders. I have been assured that it will be posted out today or tomorrow with a delivery date of Friday latest.

They even have a press 1 for the raspberry pi or 2 for anything else on their menu. ;)

Order won't be coming today as they had over 4000 yesterday and are still being processed.

Apparently the cases shown are not compatible and will be removed from site and orders.

Availability seems to depend on who you order from at the moment.

The two main 'trade' suppliers in the UK, namely RS and Element 14 (Farnell) appear to be awaiting further stocks, with the later currently quoting a five week lead, whereas CPC, who supply 'end-user' or consumer type customers appear to be still showing stock... and they offer free delivery.

I ordered from them at about 6 pm last night, decided to pay an extra £2.99 for next day delivery and it arrived via UPS this afternoon... carefully packed in an oversized cardboard box, which would have held at least 50 or so, and which was mainly full of air bags!

Good service anyway, considering it was only released yesterday morning! :)

Sorry, haven't really had a chance to do anything yet, and it only arrived about an hour ago!.... although I did immediately order a heat-sink from the rainforest for free delivery tomorrow!

I have still got to download and install a copy of the latest NOOBS software also.
