Some randomer could literally make up bs and send it to MLID and he would make a video of it....

His channel has to be the worst one for "gossip" but hey got to get those clicks and youtube money somehow.....

We already knew that RDNA 3 was going to be efficiency focussed given amds statement only talking about it and nothing else.
It was his zen coverage that did it for me, all absolute fantasy and he's known to delete videos with wrong things in them.

Ultimately speaking it's all irrelevant Nvidia are not even competing in the SUB £1000 market this generation (at the moment anyway), AMD only needs one or two modern cards which in theory even if they can't compete at the top with the 4090 would destroy the 3000 series.

Consider most will pay under 1k they could gain some serious market share if prices right.
I think if AMDs faster then we'll suddenly see DLSS 3.0 spaghetti frames become more popular.

it amuses me about the whole old games in benchmarks because I often have a backlog anyway so I at times usually just play those games and then when new gpu obtained play the older super shiny games. still yet to complete the control DLC for starters...

Sorry if it's already been covered but I saw this from yesterday's earnings call

"We will launch our next-generation RDNA 3 GPUs later this week that combine our most advanced gaming graphics architecture with five-nanometer chiplet designs. Our high-end RDNA 3 GPUs will deliver strong increases in performance and performance per watt compared to our current products and include new features supporting high resolution, high frame rate gaming."

new features supporting high resolution, high frame rate gaming.

FSR 3.0?

Is DLSS frame interpolation meant to counteract the fact that AMD can just double the raster core by padding their FPS numbers with a synthetic component?
