This is either a Troll or the OP is an idiot.

in addition to my saving shenagians posted previously.

his mortgage(s) is 4k per month

lets assume a 25 year repayment with 0% interest

12 months * 4,000 = £48,000 per year in mortgage payments

£48,000 * 25 years is 1.2Million

lets give that sum the respect it desrves

1 MILLION 2 HUNDRED THOUSAND POUNDS

Regulus, come on who are you trying to kid?

Next thread I suppose will be Spie complaining about how he is short of a bob or two and if only he hadn't bought the Ferrari and countless ski holidays to Wistler he could have afforded his Beverly Hills mansion!

;)

Strange, I thought you all would be turning nasty by page 2, at least you've lasted to page 3. I worked hard to gain what I have, I do not wish to lose it. I never mentioned any numbers in my OP, I was asked to provide details, which I did. According to you all and what you are used to, I should live in a 3 bed detached, drive an old Honda while my girlfriend catch the bus to her cafe job. I'll go be worried elsewhere, thanks for all replies, I trust you all feel better now.

sorry to be unfeeling but boo-hoo, cry me a river.
you're struggling because you waste money - cancel the trip, tell your sister to get a student loan like the rest of the population.

Why do people lie on the internet? Honestly, it seems so stupid and futile.

I mean, yes, I might own a £3M house, a fleet of sports cars, and holidays all over the world - but do I see the need to come on here and pretend to be poor? No siree.

Keep digging further old chap, nothing what I said ever changes :)

I am shocked that you rent (and were looking for a long time for somewhere rather cheap) when you have so many assets.

things do change, you have changed your savings balance and the amount of time it will keep you in this thread already.

Better than jumping off a building isn't it?

You need to see a head doctor.

without meaning to be harsh, anyone who is even contemplating paying for a world trip will get absolutely no sympathy from me. It's those that REALLY are suffering at the moment I'd like to help.

That's £675K of property at 5% on a 25 year mortgage.

£96K+ a year income. It's possible with bridging loans etc.

The guy has just got himself in too deep and can't face having to sell some assets.

This is page 2. You are using fail posts per page. ;)

Yeah, anyway, run on and moan at your rich pals about the possibility of having the rent out one of your properties or having the cancel your holiday to "make ends meet". Face it, you earn 8k a month. If you're managing to struggle on that income, hire a bloody financial advisor. You've clearly just spent more than you could afford.

Wow you earn quite a lot. I take home only a little more than you give your sister each month!

Then again, I'm not worried about having to lose one of my three homes or left wondering how I'm going to cope if I lose my job. Thems the breaks I guess.

If you feel like this now, I hate to imagine how you'd feel if the worst happened and you lost your job.

Not a statement I would expect someone earning £8K per month to make. At that level I would expect you to have a clearer view on what your company was doing and not rely on rumors...

plus being a high up PM you would have an idea what is going on in the business, especially as you would be dealing with budgets worth a lot of money with a rather large head count ;]

Not to mention without a single logical cell in his brain.

Rather to kill himself than sell a holiday home to pay off his debt? which means he can keep his current house, his cars, his world trip, his wife and a girlfriend or 2 and summer car.....etc...etc

Seriously dude, WTF ?
