Where abouts in plymouth was this can i ask? Luckily we seem to be ok around here (Estover/Leigham/Thornbury/Mainstone) way, except for the big groups that gather in the local park to get drunk and cause hastle.

I'm in Stoke villiage, used to be okay but it's got progessively worse over the last few years.

It's funds and credit rating. Need a big assed deposit on anything half decent, and most letting agents run a credit check on you when you go for a place. Which i'll fail miserably after stopping work a couple of years ago, bills got a bit out of control.

Council have offered us two different places in town, even the copper that took my statement said they were worse than where i am now.

I'm giving you 5 posts from now to turn this into a race issue. GO!

Nothing to do with race, although people saying stuff like I'd bash them with my baseball bat/sword if I found someone pee'ing on my door is just as ridiculous :p

Bit of good news, wife is home from work, told me about the fresh blood on the ground where the officers took him down :D
Hopefully it wasn't blood from the copper.

Unlucky mate, lets hope the git gets what he deserves, a good kicking from somebody anyway.

Grassendale Road in Swilly, and Flora Court in Junkie Ally (or King Street as some call it)

Don't think i've been to king street but yeh as strange as it sounds you probably are better off staying where you are!

Give the police their dues, the do pretty well most of the time. Most of the police i've spoken to have been just as, if not more frustrated than the population at their inability to nab some of the scrotes due to silly rules.

That and the shortage of coppers on the beat, theyve just added another area to the sector that our local officer has to cover each night as they have to spend more and more resources on policing the city centre.

Ah well i can't complain personally but have to feel for the people that bare the brunt of the trouble in some areas, most of them are lovely people just unfortunate to be surrounded by what amount to scum.

Surely the CCTV will just show you opening your door and then start kicking the crud out of a chav - hardly supporting evidence for you...

Also the chav peeing up the door, and most likely doing bus-driving arm movements or something at him.

Personally, I keep a solid hicory pickaxe handle next to my frontdoor for emergencies (£7 from B&Q), but in this case I'd have probably just tasered him in the todger!

good fun when i bought it from the shop and walked home with it. you should have seen the looks on peoples faces that day. where ever i went you could clearly see people crossing the streets to avoid me. :D
