this thread is interesting, i love trance and am open to new offers. anyone got any reccomendations???

It's a pretty broad question but i guess mixes and radio shows should do you! Googling or the links below should find all you need

John Gibbons - Club Educate
John Askew - Discover presents
Indecent Noise - Monthly mix
Swap - Swapcast
djx2 - Mixes and podcast
Various - i-AM Music
Kryztow de Fier - Kubik online sessions
Ronald van Gelderen - Raw sessions
John O'Callaghan - Subculture
Sean Tyas - Tytanium Sessions
Neal Scarborough - Creation
Jon O'Bir - Ways and means
Various - Digital Society podcast
Stoneface & Terminal - Club Shots
Marcus Schossow - Tone Diary

Please excuse the long list of probably names and shows you've never heard of. Most of them are very upbeat and energetic. Give a few of them a try, see what you think

would somebody please spell "Guerella" correctly for me so as I can find it on youtube lol :)

edit tis ok I found it :)

I remember this being played at Gatecrasher on Ice in (i think it was) 2004. Ferry had just finished his set with Tiesto starting next, and this was the crossover track with them both on stage. Good times

I just got my deck setup sorted properly (although I still need a new mixer eventually!) so because of that I'm well behind on music. What do everyone recommend as the best tracks of 2009?

For some inspiration the labels I seem to have enjoyed the most are along the lines of Anjunabeats/deep, Discover, Vandit... Was really into the likes of John O'Callaghan, Bryan Kearney, Simon Patterson, Thomas Bronzwaer. I also like a bit of prog stuff every now and then, similar stuff to what you'd get on Anjunadeep.

Surprise me!

My NYE CD burn list as promised. Not all are new, some are big tracks from the year i hadn't got round to burning, others are newer and discovered after a whole dig of trance digging. I love 'trance digging' days :D

Other comments
-Definitely check out 'Eudaimonia' it's probably my track of 09.
-Gary Maguire is immense, without a doubt the artist to look out for this year.
-Marcos will continue to be amazing but probably, sadly, continue to go largely unrecognised.
-Bryan Kearney has his new label and some of his own productions at the minute are amazing, can't wait to see what he pulls out this year.
-Tigran Organezov is the best his kind (i say kind because i'm not quite sure what the subgenre is!) in the world
-Hoping for another big year from Indecent Noise, his DJing skills are undoubted, and his productions are getting better and better
-John O'Callaghan has escaped from Armada by starting his new label (yay!) so i'm praying for no more crap like 'Find yourself'
-John Askew released some stunners last year, more of the same please john!

And for those of you that missed it, check out my radio show thread http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18107234&highlight=trance+2010

Time for a thread resurrection, talking about NU NRG made me think of this classic :D
