yeah both anjunabeats volume 5 and asot 2007 have let me down, the mixing is flawless just the tracks are a bit of a let down, i mean i love 50% of the tracks on both albums, but theres no "wow" factor. and if you listen to armins essential mix from last xmas eve he's lifted 4 tunes and transitions from it for the new CD

armin really excels with the radioshows and re-edit mixes (like the yearmix and hour1 of ASOT300, which are both incredible) i reckon

Don't know who said Anjunabeats 5 was crap but I really like it.

Only problem is they didn't use the origional mix of "Needs To Feel" because that is one absolute belter of song.

And they signed it too! I wasn't expecting that!
 
Anyone not think that Wippenbergs remixes sound VERY samey, like the same way the melody is strung together just a different sound. Dont get me wrong, sounds rocking either way, just seems like for each remix they re-edit that build up, give the end of the build up a slightly different tone, and change the kick ins bass a bit (you can tell im not good with music terminology). Dont know if you get what i mean, listen to Cosmic Gate ft Tiff Lacey - Should've Known (Wippenberg remix) cos thats what im on about.

Yer I quite like Cosmic Gate, Analog Feel is totally different but just as good. Need to get their new album.

Yes defo Helsinki Scorchin is be far the best from Super 8 and DJ Tab :cool:
