Recommend me some trance?

Good thread - haven't really listened to much trance in quite some time (getting old now).
Gone are the days of K90, Lab4 and the good old Captain (Tinrib). Ah SuperFish, Samsara/Pendragon/Logic @ The Fridge, and Nuclear Free Zone at Club 414. Great days. :) :) :)

aly+fila - good set but their mixing seems wierd
tyas - eevry single transtition was identical, always a bass switch at the same point, got a bit boring after a while
menno de jong - was in the mood for some boshy stuff so skipped this
woods - brilliant :D
schulz - seemed a bit crappy after the first 15 mins
armin - after about an hour in it went insane - briliant set

tut tut mr kr00t0n. i'm listening to your latest may psy mix and the mixing is non-existant. you're just letting the records play like a daytime radio1 dj.... :(

still, i'm looking forward to that fsol sampled track soon. cracking sample you posted a few weeks back. :)

I did bassline corssovers, cuts, high-pass filtering and the equivalent to pressing the off button on a deck. :(

Heck, I even edited the end of Voice to allow for an actual outro instead of the abrupt ending it actually has.

Same way I've always mixed, just using a different medium.

haha shup man, I was jesting. I not even listened yet !!

I like ** ableton mixes. I only wish I could get my head around it. Would make my life easier for mixing my radio shows.
