What's the peak time to meet you? :D

Dino Psaras - Voice

Whilst looking for new tunes for my next psytrance mix, I stumbled onto this beauty!

I haven't had a track wow me like this in years, I could so see it destroying a massive dancefloor with lasers on the epic scale :D

Even if you don't normally like psytrance, give this a listen, it's very much like normal trance (pretty sure it samples a load of old tunes)

Woohoo!

Very nice indeed! Don't you just love it when you're trawling through tracks and stumble across a beauty :)

The Anthem - Filo & Peri (played on ASOT 291 IIRC)

*shudder*

Btw whats the difference in House and Trance, just the beat or the progression?

sid

Without getting picky about sub genres or over complicating things, house is typically under 130bpm whilst trance is typically 135bpm and higher

Few more

Youri Parker & Fred baker - Banghttp://www.zen104424.zen.co.uk/music/samples/Youri Parker vs Fred Baker - Bang (SAMPLE).mp3
From last year this one and it's a fantastic example of percussive trance which i've really taken a liking to lately

David Forbes - Super Imposed (Mark Sherry)http://www.zen104424.zen.co.uk/musi...uper Imposed (Mark Sherry Remix) (SAMPLE).mp3
Nice and techy, nice and energetic

Gleave - Fire Devilhttp://www.zen104424.zen.co.uk/music/samples/Gleave - Fire Devil (SAMPLE).mp3
Tiny bit cheesy but i love it, been listening to it loads lately

Rapid Eye - Circa forever (RE Remix)http://www.zen104424.zen.co.uk/music/samples/Rapid eye - Circa Forever (RE remix) (SAMPLE).mp3
And i thought i'd throw in a bit of an oldie as well. Very euphoric, very hands in the air, very very cool track

the thread title "trance" kinda tells you what the thread is for :p

Do any off you follow Jon O'Bir?

Got to meet him when he played at a smaller club here in sheffield, cool guy. Music wise i love his style of trance, he seems to play sets with a touch more energy than the likes of Matt Hardwick and without to many 'fluffy' tracks

Quite a summery selection this time

Oliver Smith - Nimbus
This is one of those tracks that just screams summertime. So floaty and euphoric, love it

Mike Foyle - Firefly
Not his best track by a long shot but not bad

Marc Marberg & Kyau vs Albert - Megashira (Stoneface & Terminal Remix)
Nice remix, very trancy and uplifting

Airbase - Roots
Trancy and uplifting again

Filo & Peri - Something Special
Bit of a housey track from F&P, i would imagine some of you might not like this but i love it

Signum - Push Through (Manuel le Saux's just for fun Remix)
This is very much a 1999 era style remix, it rocks!

Maatren de Jong - Massive
Bosh bosh

Mobile Dogwash - Psycho-delic
A guy at work is a techno DJ and producer, this is his latest release and it's awesome

It starts from about 25-26 minutes in so it should be one from 13-16 but from searching it doesn't seem to be any of them.

25 mins in is usually the start of about the 5th - 7th track...

EDIT\\ Ooooops - in reverse order, i see now

I went to my first psy-trance night on friday and it was absolutely incredible. Completely different experience to a regular trance night. The average age for starters was about 5-10 years older and everyone was going crazy on the dancefloor, really letting go. I can't wait for the next one!

Awesome stuff there, Pete. That was at Plug wasn't it?

Just been checking out Mobile Dogwash on their Myspace, Body Movin' is an ace track.

I got a CD of theirs on friday, i'll rip it and send it to you, it's certainly worth a listen. It's basically an hours worth of their own productions, mixed.

I've been hammering out some hard house this evening, great fun, and this

Technikal - Overdrive (Technikal's 2007 Remix)

is a great track :)

EDIT\ in fact i'm very tempted to record my own hh mix after the football
