3MB? Is that all? I have 8.
Its not a competition. ;)

3Mb will be a welcome boost for me over my 512.
3Mb puts me into the range of realistically being able to do several things at once without problems.
Its an 'upto 8Mb' line anyway, so as the line improves, i'll get better speeds, upto 8Mb. :)

Everyone's is like that - you can add mail aliases though (so you still have zen12345@zen as your ADSL login, but can have [email protected]).

You can have the password reset, but it'll be to another randomly generated one.

Ah.
So:
Username: [email protected]
Password: 12345abc
Will be my ADSL login.
The same will be for the accounts main email, and emails after that can have whatever properties i set?
Odd way of doing things that.

Aparentely next Tuesday is when they've asked BT to do the switch.

Im hoping my LineOne email keeps working for a while longer while i slowly update all my newsletters to goto a different email. :p

Yes, provided the alias has either a dash or a dot. All the emails collect in the zen12345 mailbox though...

?
So how does that work then?
Are they not treated as seperate email addresses?

Yep.

But the login you use to get your email is the zen12345 and the password you were given, ergo whatever client you use gets all the email. No IMAP either.

Could be worse i suppose.
I plan on using my gmail as my primary account, and im still using my LineOne dial-up email address, even 5years+ after LineOne got bought out by Tiscali. :p

Got an email this morning saying that by midnight tonight i should be migrated.
Question though.
I know that ADSL Max does a 10 day+ line stability check.
I have my router set to 'allways on' rarther than 'connected when needed'. Is the connection still going to be doing its stability checks if the connection is perminately on, rarther than disconnecting when its not being used?

Thanks.
