Red Dead Redemption 2, GPU Benchmark, What You'll Need To Play!

Not sure why a long drawn out video is needed to show optimal settings for minimal picture quality reduction and maximum performance, all we need is an image of the settings slapped down rather than a video, they need to add an image.

or just buy a console. i'm sure i played this on 4K on my console.

4K/30 at lower settings.

Lol, I have been hanging about waiting for the steam release, hopefully it's sorted by the time it comes out there :p

Me too! Can’t wait for this but really regretted GTA V through the R* launcher so not going to make that mistake twice.

You both aware even if you buying the game on Steam, you still have to have the R* Launcher installed to play the game ?? Just like with UBISoft and their titles, you need their uPlayer.

But even if you buy it on steam you'll have to go through the R* launcher :/

Which people will already be doing anyway, if they have GTA V on there, as that updated with the new launcher not long back.

Any news on if/when it’ll be available on Steam?

Its december the 5th i think, surprised they havn't already got it up for pre-order, unless R* holding it back till last minute, to get the sales on theirs.

Erm no...:.

oh crap! So what does Steam give you then?
You get to have the game on the Steam Launcher with all your other games (although you can add non steam games to the launcher if I remember right, just to have a record of what games you have.). Just like if you bought any Assassins Creed xxxx titles, it's on Steam but need the uPlayer to play the game. So, basically you don't really get anything of substance by buying it from Steam, I guess.

Thanks! I don’t mind having the R* launcher installed If I can launch it from Steam but I guess it would just auto launch R* launcher so in which case steam is an extra overlay?

Yes, as you'll be running both.
