Nvidia response: the solution is easy guys, buy two 2080ti’s if you want to play 4K.
or just buy a console. i'm sure i played this on 4K on my console.
Me too! Can’t wait for this but really regretted GTA V through the R* launcher so not going to make that mistake twice.Lol, I have been hanging about waiting for the steam release, hopefully it's sorted by the time it comes out there![]()

But even if you buy it on steam you'll have to go through the R* launcher :/
Any news on if/when it’ll be available on Steam?
Yes it is/was awful, think I'll give the new(?) launcher a try..I really don't mind the R$ launcher, it's much better to what that social crap was.
Erm no...:.You both aware even if you buying the game on Steam, you still have to have the R* Launcher installed to play the game ?? Just like with UBISoft and their titles, you need their uPlayer.
You get to have the game on the Steam Launcher with all your other games (although you can add non steam games to the launcher if I remember right, just to have a record of what games you have.). Just like if you bought any Assassins Creed xxxx titles, it's on Steam but need the uPlayer to play the game. So, basically you don't really get anything of substance by buying it from Steam, I guess.Erm no...:.
oh crap! So what does Steam give you then?

Thanks! I don’t mind having the R* launcher installed If I can launch it from Steam but I guess it would just auto launch R* launcher so in which case steam is an extra overlay?
Damn so I’ve wasted all this time since launch waiting for a double cpu eater!!!!!Yes, as you'll be running both.
Search out Jokers RDR2 Rockstar apology vid on YT.
