Red Dead Redemption 2 (PS4, Xbox and PC Hopefully)

Breath of the Wild managed to do this while still having a fast travel system.

I'm not far in but liking the game, I only have limited time to play and already think some of the "realistic" aspects could be removed, like having a bath, do I really need to scrub each body part? And if so, why is there no ball bag option? I get what Rockstar have tried to do but not sure all their decision are on the money.

If theres no ball bag cleaning option then its a no buy from me. Ball bag cleaning is the minimum I expect from an open world game in 2018, unbelievable.

It is truly bizarre how the game simply won't let you do anything the way you want. I am on a mission atm where it started me with the bow and a rifle. So I went to my horse and swapped the bow for the shotgun. I died, and when I respawned I had the bow again. Now I was not in a position to change it though as I'd passed a checkpoint.
Yup, this ruined the finale for me. Was stuck with a shotgun when it decided to remove my rifle on respawn. Even with slugs, it was hard-going to pop them from range.

Throwing in the towel, I'm done with the game. Chapter 6 and 66% complete. I literally cannot stand to play another minute of the thing, its soul destroying. Will watch a walkthrough for how it all ends. The only game in the past 10 years that I can't be bothered to complete.

Has anyone done the stranger activity just outside Rhodes?

the one where you take down wanted posters for the escaped convicts?

I've done it twice. Once with Arthur and once after the story ends!

Just completed the epilogue.

I thought the story all the way through was excellent and I never found it boring other than chapter 5. The 2nd part of the epilogue was a very good ending imo... But will probably mean more to someone who had played the first game.

Lots of people bored by chapter 6, but I honestly found it the best part of the game story-wise. I thought it was very powerful.

love it not even got past valentine in the story but took the train to st denis and had a crazy 10 minute shoot out with the law.

having a great time looting and killing up and down the railroad

roll on online play

Yeah I have also had to do it twice, bit strange...

Chapter 5 was bad. If they had made it really spectacular it could have worked, but it all seemed very half done to me. And I encountered the biggest visual glitch I've had in the game during it.

I had a glitch where a character was not picked up by an NPC so I couldn’t progress out of town. A quick death and then it started working fine. Only real issue I’ve noticed. Other than that, I’m just starting out chapter 3. I’m enjoying the story thus far. I am now down to around an hour of playtime a day at best though.

Yes, why?

As I said, I've done it twice, which I found very odd. Probably a bug because I'm pretty sure it isn't meant to be repeatable.

Although I'm done with the story I don't feel I'm done with the game. I'm not one of those 100%gamers by any stretch, but I'll keep playing til I get bored and move on. I haven't had a ps4 for long, and I do have Bloodborne sitting on my desk...

You said it twice? I didn't look in the SPOILER just in case something I hadn't done was in there. Lots of info around here that needs to be in spoilers to be fair. I've had my game ruined now on a few occasions, just trying to limit the damage inbetween chapter 6 and end game.
