Colours are not the issue with the pro, the problem is low frame rates and everything looking blurry. Especially in the distance, these issues are not on the 1x, it is a totally different game on the xbone.

You sure it’s not your TV ? I can’t see a great deal of difference tbh.

Same game agreed, but it looks and plays totally different. You console fan boys are worse then the PC crowd about hardware they play on. I use all 3 to game on. So not a fan boy of any system, the fact here is I own both the pro and the 1x, the 1x version is far superior and is the system to play this game on.

I was told earlier I have a rubbish TV for making a simple comment, I can assure you my 50 inch Samsung console TV is well up to the task to play console games in 4K. Sorry to offend PS4 fan boys but the pro version is not good at all.

It is a fantastic game though.
 
Played this solidly for hours now and can say it is one of the best looking games on the pro. Once I got used to its aesthetic then its sucked me in and the details I’m noticing are phenomenal.

The environments, water, mist, and lighting are the best I think I’ve provably seen this gen bar HZD.

Playing it in headphones is the way to go too as the sounds are brilliant.

The Pro version looks fine to me, it may run and look better on the 1x but to state “it’s not good at all” on the Pro is absolute nonsense.

Agreed, I was going into it expecting a certain level of 'blur' after reading and watching the DF coverage, whereas in reality on a good TV that's been set-up correctly image quality looks wonderfully crisp and runs very well.

But if someone who's thrown a hissy fit has rushed out to buy a new console for one game and feels the need to justify it to a forum of nobodies, so be it.
 
Lol don’t need to justify anything I dont settle for second best because of a tiny thing called money. PS4 is just upscaling.

Anyway rd1 has been updated to run at 4K, unsure how they did this but it looks really good in 4K.
 
Looks lovely in 1080 on a release date ps4, just wish i could get used to the controls. Shot several people just because i was trying to do something else :D

The game looks stunning on a ps4 slim so it isn't going to look worse on a pro. Any chance we can stop these silly comparisons now?
 
Ok. I'm not 4 hours in and it's starting to show why it's been getting 10s. That first two hours tho....good Lord. Need to find somewhere to sell stuff, I lost a bear hide because I started a mission and it disappeared.

He did, after calling everyone in here fanboys and slating it on the PS4 Pro because he wasn’t getting the best experience possible. He’s also a rich badass because a “tiny thing called money” doesn’t matter to him. Manufacturers love people like him due to the phrase “more money than sense”. Seems to ring true in this case as well.

I had a few interesting hours last night. I somehow ended up respawning back at camp whilst out hunting. I suspect I ran out of energy / food or something and that’s what caused it.

Then I went on a rampage and botched up a $275 bounty in Valentine (oops) that I couldn’t pay off at all. I ended up having to reload a save because that town hated me lol!

And finally, why the heck do I always bust through a door like I’ve got a problem with everyone inside? I did this at the gun shop, and the saloon. The dude in the gun shop told me to calm the hell down, and everyone in the saloon started running for a brief moment! Not quite the reaction I was looking for lol!

Oh, and I also ended up saving some random stage coach driver from a robbery, and afterward he said I could have the stuff in the chest if I could open it. I didn’t have a lock breaker so I ended up trying to find one, had to go to Rhodes by train and picked one up, but then got killed when I had a random gunfight in Rhodes. When I got back to Valentine, the coach was gone ffs! $25 wasted on the breaker, and $15 on train tickets! Ah well!

But the game is so awesome. The level of detail and the things you can do is amazing. This is the game of a generation for sure.

But I’m only playing the game at 720p so what do I know eh?
