Red Dead Redemption 2

I just pre ordered, first time in a LONG time that I have pre-ordered a game. I went for the special edition rather than the ultimate as I don't care for MP. Having played it on the PS4 Pro for a short while (around 5 hours) I stopped knowing it would come to the PC and I thoroughly enjoyed it on the console.

Did you go with the rockstar launcher or elsewhere?

Through the R* launcher, $59.99. I've given up caring about all the launchers, they are all just set to disable on start up and close when closed, not minimise to tray.

I've high hopes that GoG Galaxy 2.0 will eradicate all the troubles later down it's development line either way

£54.99 is discount price as well for pre orders..... Pretty sure it said £64 after that. Anyway I pre ordered, huge western fan so I have to really. Enjoyed it so much on the one x it will be nice to play at 60fps on lower settings.

Wont it come down in price in a few weeks/months? My limit is around £35 really.

Otherwise I just wait for it to get reduced.

I think GTA V was a CDKeys preorder at £35.

There's no point in pre-ordering imo. It's not like it's discounted or anything and 50+ is chicken oriental. I'll wait until a week or two after release and get it from a key site for less.

doesn't matter for you anyway. You’ll never run it on your open crotch leather pants.

See, people do read sigs :p

Yikes! That's very high. I don't think any game is worth that amount of money.

Yeah its quite a lot, though its less than I paid for Assassins Creed Odyssey gold edition, which I think is one of the priciest purchases I've made in recent memory. Having said that, I almost got 200 hours out of Odyssey and rated it as my game of the year for 2018, so it proved to be decent value for money for me.

Hoping that RDR2 is the same for this year for me.

That's the thing... is it even gonna be on any key sites?

Well, according to their own website.

Red Dead Redemption 2 for PC will also be available to pre-order at the Epic Games store, Greenman Gaming, the Humble Store, GameStop and additional digital retailers starting October 23rd with a pre-order bonus of 25 Gold Bars for Red Dead Online. Red Dead Redemption 2 for PC will also be available to purchase on Steam this December.

Although not sure if additional digital retailers means key sites though.

I thought "500gb will be enough for a Steam drive" Twice! Both drives are now almost full with games I'd like to keep. Hopefully there is a tempting deal in the Black Friday sales.

I just keep what I play now. I did have a pretty full 2TB HDD, but with a reasonably quick internet connection I now just backup my saves and then delete games I'm not actively playing. I am currently only playing 3 games, and on a fresh drive install downloaded them in about 10 minutes.

Exactly the same here. Stopped playing it because I was in the process of ordering a new PC and wanted to save it for a better experience.

Looking forward to it but will be looking on Voidu and anywhere else that discounts it before launch.

Picked up BL3 for <£35 at launch, so it might happen with RDR2.

If its anything like GTA V then its well worth the money! As we all know you can spend hours and hours on Rockstar games and they are very well made , You also have the online mode where the story continues with friends so endless gaming. When you look at it from that point of view then you will 100% get £50-60 worth of gaming from it.
