Red Dead Redemption 2

I cannot fathom the chagrin over different launchers. As I said earlier, just stick a desktop shortcut on and you go straight in no matter what launcher you use.

I installed the beta of GOG2.0 and I'm surprised how much I don't use it (or steam etc) as I've done just that - icons for all my current games. It's only when I'm bored and have a quick browse that I like them all in one place.

This is great news and i for one will be pre-ordering direct from Rockstar. This is also a double dip for me, completed story on XboxOneX and was sucked in from start to finish.

Excited to see the PC enhancements and additions.

Will online be worthy or just single player really?

It'd be excellent if they include DLSS and RTX, I'm sure that's wishful thinking however.

Yeah I keep trying to dip into GTA Online but end up getting killed by invisible characters.

Gaming for me is a solitary affair, i very rarely dip into online gaming for these reasons, whats the point in trying to level up the right way when cheating and aimbots are the norm.

Indeed, it does kill the online aspect of it. I'm surprised these people don't get banned, even a modded GTA V (graphics wise) can get you banned.

I do like online games but I find online interaction is limited when I play with controller on the TV away from the desk, I don't have a headset and prefer to play with speakers.

There's TONS to do in SP even post game completion whereas with the GTA's there really wasn't much left. Online is a clusterduck mess and isn't much fun, even though Rockstar are pouring as much resources as they can to milk it with regular 'events'.

For me, I don't want my desktop clogged up with individual shortcuts, and ideally, I'd like all games in one portal with a bit of info about every game in my library - I forget what games I have, and sometimes fancy finding something different, and having a brief overview and perhaps a gameplay video for each would be damn handy.

I get around that by keeping all my game shortcuts in a folder called Games and then just sticking the folder icon on the taskbar. Keeps my desktop clean and allows me to see all my games at the click of one button.
