Red Dead Redemption 2

Pretty sure I’m around 50% into it also, got very bored of it. Stunning game in many respects, but I do struggle to see what all the hype is about. It’s something I’ll no doubt go back to one day.
I spent more time hunting than doing the story

If you get sucked into certain FB groups there's a lot of people on like their 12th playthrough and they particular moments in the main story to just stop and "live" in the world. Mad, but also kinda cool :p

Finally finished this, not for me. And the farming sim at the end? Such an anti-climax as you needed the back story of RDR1 for it to mean anything.

Tried a system restore to an earlier date?

you know that does ring a bell FML im still up ill try it now

after all this time ive reinstalled the game twice and played with all my drivers lol....

I bought this game years ago but didn't play it for some reason but now is the time! Any tips for a total noob?

Just persevere at the beginning. Its a bit of a slow burner initially. Also try to not ignore the side quests. My only regret with this game is i finished the main quest to quickly. Also stay off the RDR2 Reddit page, its spoiler central.

I've given up at what feels like 20-30% in. Shooting mechanics are just boring - you sit behind cover and wait for red dots on the radar to converge to you. Ragdoll is much inferior to RDR1, where enemies reacted to getting shot in a much more realistic and fun way.

I got bored and uninstalled in the end got about 60% through

looks amazing graphically
but everything takes too long, even just being forced to walk sometimes etc just adds up to be very slowwwwwwwwwwwwww

shame but just couldn't burn 101034190491 hours on it

I think I have played the opening scenes about 3 times now, then don't get into it and play something else. Come back to it and do it again. I think last time I got a bit further as I took the ladies to the town and did one warrant I think, but just cant get into it. Everyone says its great and it does look good, but I just cant get into it.

I really want to play it through but just cant get into it lol.
