You've not convinced me to have another go![]()
My 15 year old loves it and is on his third playthrough. I'm still on my 1st time and come back to it every once in a while. Witcher 3, I've played three times though. Each to their own.Its a good game and a good story, but i can see how the slower pacing and push to wander around/explore/sidequest instead of beelining the plot might not be a recipe that some folk are into.
Which is fine, plenty of other games to play you shouldnt feel forced to play it if it isn't grabbing you.

I have a feeling I would get into it, if i persisted, it just felt quite dull to start. Should just put aside a day and try againI feel it's one of those games that once it grabs you it doesn't let go until you've exhausted it. Epic story telling, setting and implementation.
The first hour or so is a bit meh but keep pushingI have a feeling I would get into it, if i persisted, it just felt quite dull to start. Should just put aside a day and try again

Thanks mate, yes was in a snowy area, ill give it another bashthe extended tutorial section is a fair bit longer than most games for sure, probably end up in the same hall of fame as the skyrim intro.
not sure how far into you've got but it's not a massive spoiler to suggest if you haven't gotten out of the snowy region yet then you might want to push through at least that far because that's when the majority of what the game has to offer really opens up.

"You're telling me you're dissing the whole game, before you even finished the tutorial!? Oh, that's a classic that is!"

Depends on your GPU and preferred frame rate, long as your using DLSS4 transformer model even performance mode @ 4K looks great imoFor anyone still playing this game. What settings should I be using for highest quality picture? I recently upgraded my GPU so will be doing another play through.
Likely a silly question for most, but should I just be running at DLAA? or will DLSS or MSAA be the better options on this title?
Anything over 100fps is good for me. Running a 5090/9800X3DDepends on your GPU and preferred frame rate, long as your using DLSS4 transformer model even performance mode @ 4K looks great imo
