Red Dead Redemption *SPOILER THREAD*

could anyoe tell me how i get mo van barr back to the sheriff if i kill him as im struggling to capture him with the lasso so end up shooting him, but cant figure out how to get him back to armadillo?

Lasso him, then tie him up, call your horse, stick him on the back of the horse and ride off to the sheriff!
 
2 things I dont like :eek:

1) Survivor Challenges, WTF I'm a fringing bad ass Gunslinger! You seriously want me to go round collecting Herbs!!!! :confused::eek::p:mad: Yeah I've wasted a couple of hours looking :lol:

2) Having to take certain missions, e.g. that "Tonic guy" p1sses me right off, I just wanted to shoot the lying cheating SOAB but I had to go along with him :(

The worst missions are the herding and stuff :'(

im going to kill the tonic guy if I have to do any more **** for him!!!
 
any1 tried robbing a bank yet?? not sure if i did it right but its hard man..and you dont get much money...gonna rob some traders in the wilds next..see if that gets me more returns hehe :)

i have the bandana so my honor/fame should stay the same right??

Bank at Armadillo is always empty when i go in. nobody to rob :confused: I got the bandana especially for that!

Glitches in this game.

Provided u are half decent at duels and have some money you can max out your fame and honour probably. Just wear the elegant suit play poker and cheat = duel time. Shoot their gun out of their hand (never never ever draw before it says draw!) and its +200 honour each time.

Your Immortal Horse. - it keeps on coming. Just whistle and itll be along shortly. One time my horse just collapsed and died under me (just after a gunfight) so i guess it bled to death from wounds. I skin him ofc :) and later on whistle and whatdya know along he comes trotting along like nothing had happened.....

I dont bother hitchin either - EXCEPT if i find a horse which i like then i hitch it to save it. Warhorse i reckon is a waste of time...i like changing horses for different looks.

Got the duster overcoat n clothes though - very nice :D
 
hi

ive just done my first duel , i used dead eye and i was able to use the marking system on the target.

are all 3 stages of the dead eye available from the start of the game or will they become available as i progress or do i need to unlock the stages?

i dont know how i got stage 2.

Uhh im on dead eye level 1 and you get to mark em in duels. If marking is painting the body parts ie where you are shooting then yeah.

I think the stages are unlockable as you progress yeah

ok so in duels it lets you mark the target , is there a screen to tell you what dead eye leve you are on?
 
bounties are the easiest to make money on quickley, when you approach the bounties last known location get on foot and shoot someone then take cover. The bounties lackeys will come at you and you should be able to pick them off eassily. Once there is only one red dot left that wil be the target he will try to escape. get on your horse and get your lasso out. Chase him down and lasso him from his horse (or shoot the horse but this sometimes kills the baddie) then hogtie and stick him on your horse. Remember to shoot the persuers and dont dawdle get to town ASAP or you will die.

Bingo 200+ dollars in about 5-7mins
 
hi

does anyone know how the horse deeds work that you get from general stores?

my horse the cream stallion that i got on a bonnie mission got shot and now when i whistle for a horse i get a brown one.

if i had got a deed for the the cream horse which i think was the kentucky saddler would it spawn again even if it got killed?

Just open select the deed and click it again to re activate, then save the game, next time you call your horse, it will be the one you bought :)

If it dies and you call it without Re selecting the deed, you get a standard horse until you do the above...
