Red Dead Redemption Thread

Finished the story last night. Last 7 or so missions were absolutely rubbish tbh. They felt like they belonged at the beginning of the game and not the end.

On the whole a good game. Shorter than I was expecting. Took 24 hours and that was with me doing a lot of side missions. I think the core story could have been done in 10 or so hours.

85% complete just need to figure out what to do to complete 100% and also start on the multiplayer.

All in all, reviews gave (a few )marks higher than the game deserved, like GTA4.

Any idea what type of stuff is needed to get 100%. I did a load of those challenges and found the treasures already. The only 10 part challenge I did not complete is the Hunting one. I think I got rank 5 on that where I have to kill 2 cougars with knives and stopped. I guess you have to get all the outfits as well. Can't think of anything else in game that isn't random missions.

Has anyone else had the achievement for using the same horse for 20 missions?

I've had the same war horse since before I got to Mexico, did all the Mexico missions and one in Blackwater but nothing yet....

No, Its the only SP achievement I haven't got, I was using the same horse for bloomin' ages too

All the Wanted poster locations, they were the last thing I needed for 100%

I have a bull now, hit lvl 50 last night, though i was getting frustarted with the mp game modes, i cant seem to get my headshots even though i aim straight at ppls heads and they headshot me in 1 go :(
 
Im needing a little help with 3 challenges in the free roam, all to do with public enemies, at various stages with them, 1 is get a 7 kill streak ( has to be players ) when im a public enemy, be a posse leader and have others gain a wanted lvl of $2500 as well as ur self, and kill 5 public enemies, last 2 are at stage 2 so will be another after it.

Story missions (obv), all Strangers, Outfits, kill all species at least once, play all games, all ambient challenges (need that for outfit so, yea), all rare weapons, all horses broken at least once...errr....all locations discovered, herbs collected etc
