Absolute ass.
I couldn't help seeing the first line with that huge spoiler and have been angry ever since - I'm still in Mexico so I steer clear of the spoiler thread (spoilers in this have their own specific bloody thread!)
So thanks for bringing them here for us people who haven't finished yet. :mad: :mad: :mad:

Im enjoying the multiplayer now ive unlocked hardcore game modes, basically it means that there is no auto aim so much more fun and skillfull :)

The new patch apparantly adds Hardcore free roam which will make the multiplayer free roam a lot more interesting. I do recommend you give it a try though, also playing with friends helps a lot. :D
 
I tend to use the auto aim, more as a substitute for not using dead eye and it hekps to snap to the enemy so i can then adjust it to aim for the head, if using rifles but just body shoot with pistols.
 
Did anyone else finish the story and give up on this? I intended to go back and do the other things but I've tried and just found them to be incredibly dull, I really expected to get more playtime out of this. I think the Zero Punctuation review on this actually sums it up quite well.

Finished it and sold it about a day later. Bit disappointed really cause i still have GTAIV 2 years later and play it often enough.

RDR just didn't have enough going on. The environments, whilst great to look at graphically became extremely boring with the same repetitive stranger missions, barren lands (yes i know, its the west) and just really not an awful lot happening.
 
Im the opposite i hated GTA 4, found it to be soooo boring that i never actually got around to completing it, espically the whole friends/girlfriends bit, also the side missons in RDR were better done, like bounties, treasure hunting etc etc, were as GTA 4s pigeons/packages were just annoying.
 
Is there a list of weapons in order of rank anywhere? Also are all weapons ammo upgradeable by going to a store etc? I seem to recall increasing one of my rifles from holding 6 shots to 12 shots.

As yet i have not bought any weapons, just picked up some. I mainly use the Rifles and Pistols, so if someone could tell which are the best and can hold most ammo, that would be good.

Also, does your horse gallop/run faster on paths as opposed to normal terrain or am I imagining it?

Buying the Bandaleer (Sp?) increases ammo, it's a one off buy though. Horses do run and regain stamina quicker on paths, it tells you this in the game but you may have missed the text telling you.
