Just go private and grind the hell out of gang hide outs to level up. I must have played solomons folly atleast 500 times to get to level 50. My best time was something like 70 seconds and earning over 2k xp with a 30 kill chain bonus.

How long did it take to reach 50 mate?
 
i will be on from around 8ish dinakin if your up for getting some more coop , dont mind anyone else joining .
tried the herd on expert and some random person joined and kept whistling to scare the cows into dynamite .
 
Anybody had an email relating to the offer that was on a while back of 400 MS points if you downloaded a certain RDR video from Marketplace?

I got a code to redeem but it comes up as invalid on the Xbox site :/

Same here, I'm guessing someone at the marketing company Microsoft used, has their grubby hands on the codes and has used them.
 
Lol my single player game is like 3 and half days. I'm trying to get 100% and all single player trophies before I go to multiplayer. I've played with no guide either so I have had a lot of fun. Don't you think Dead Eye and auto Aim should be removed when playing Online vs other Human players so no one can get cheesy lame kills?

Done with the game now, never reached 100% but the story was enough for me and the MP gets boring quickly I just need to find something half decent to trade it in for now.

Same but I never really trade my games in. I think this will be a keeper but only because I may come back to 100% the game in the winter, when it's snowing, dark and miserable. But until then I've got better things to do than grind it out on this game. One thing I'm REALLY disappointed about is that when you complete GTA4 you can just cruise around the city doing whatever the hell you want. With this galloping around on the horses just gets very, very boring very, very quickly in comparison. The mini games get pretty boring too, poker is cool, liars dice can be fun but I don't find horseshoes, blackjack, arm wrestling, horse breaking or nightwatch fun at all, they just feel like chores more than anything.

I'm not saying that GTA4 really had much to do after you complete the main story either because in fairness, in terms of minigames vanilla GTA4 has less to do than RDR, but if all else fails you can just cruise around the airport doing stunt jumps and stuff, this game just feels a bit "meh" once you finish the story.
 
GTA story/characters with Just Cause 2 gameplay = ultimate open world game.

I think the Just Cause guys outclassed Rockstar, that game is heaps of fun to play and they should take some notes from it for their next open world game, it's fun like the old GTA games!
 
Looks like im going to give this game a miss, my copy still hasnt turned up and ive now demanded a refund from the jersey based thieves.

Gonna grab Crackdown 2 when it come out on the 9th as im back in the UK then and ill think about picking this up before i fly back out to Korea as by then im sure somone will be discounting it.

Me too, I sent them an email to inform them and ask them to sort it out :)
 
Got the "Dastardly" achievement last night, still chuckling about it. Especially as Marston quipped "quit wrigglin' lady" as he hogtied her. :D
